Built in 1947 by George Burris, this home was originally a hunting and fishing lodge and a center of entertainment for his family. After extensive remodeling in 2000, this resort home is now a grand resort home for our family and yours. Built on a large sand dune, just one block off the beach, this home features commanding views of the beach and the Texas Gulf.
Sleeping 16 comfortably it is host to many families, fishing and hunting parties, and corporate retreats year-round.
The amenities and simple elegance of Summer Place are unequaled. Located on 1.86 acres, the 5,500-square-foot home is a resort in itself. This stunning home features six bedrooms including two master suites. The views from the poolside deck and upper deck are stellar. The built-in pool provides hours of enjoyment when you're ready for a break from the sand. The gourmet kitchen has all the tools to fix that exquisite meal to be served in a dining room that can seat 24.
