Escape the hustle and bustle of DC with just over an hour’s drive to enjoy lake life. Wake up relaxed in the roomy master bedroom and watch the sunrise from the adjoining sitting room. Take the kids for a lap around the quiet cove or see who can swim from the dock to the sandy beach across the cove the fastest.

Don’t feel like a swim just yet? No problem as there are plenty of stay-dry activities including cornhole, bocce, and a well stocked game/media room. Grill up lunch on the propane gas grill, or order in from many delicious nearby restaurants. Evenings are shaded on the deck for dining al fresco and watching the sunset. S’mores around the fire as the perfect finish to a memorable lake life day.

Once the kiddos are off to bed, mix up a cocktail at the custom bar underneath the deck, featuring string lights, and an outdoor TV.

Wake up the next day and do it again, or see all the amenities that Lake of the Woods offers, including a semi private golf course with perfect greens, equestrian center, hiking trails, and a clubhouse that overlooks the main lake. Want something slower pace? Bring your fishing rods and bait to catch fish right from the dock. Or take the kids to the front porch and feed the fishies in the koi pond.

With four fully furnished bedrooms, an additional walkthrough bedroom, and a loft, there are enough beds to sleep up to 3 families with room to spare. The most responsive host ever!

We had a great time at this clean and spacious property and wouldn't change a thing. Whenever I had questions for Lilee (even before we checked in), she responded right away. I even asked her if she had any more properties to rent because we had such a pleasant experience. Thanks for everything, Lilee!

Great holiday

The house is beautiful and easily fit our group of 3+ families. Communication with the owner was prompt and efficient. The area is serene, but also just a short drive to stores and restaurants. Would love to stay there again!

Summer Vacation

I have to start off by saying the lake house is wonderful. Everything was clean and set up for our visit. It had a large game room that our youngest boys spent most of their time inside playing games and watching movies. Everyone enjoyed the Lake and swimming over the the beach to play in the sand. At night the kids enjoy having smores in the back yard, and us parents enjoyed the quite bliss. You have to try witches brew for your morning coffee if you don't feel like making it yourself . Also Lilee was just great with communication always getting back to us if we had questions.

We are a husband and wife with two wonderful, active young children living in northern VA full-time. We love getting away and spending time at our lake house and hosting our family and friends when we are able to.

We bought this home to create lasting family memories that our children can take with them and hopefully pass onto our grandchildren someday. We love our lake home and want to share this beautiful space with you. I have tried to think of all the little details that make a home away from home more comfortable and pleasant to incorporate into the space.
