Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the home, property, and all amenities â including an EV-compatible outlet (bring your own charger or use a nearby station!).
Lake Arrowhead Access (New for June 2025):
Short-term rental guests enjoy free access to Lake Arrowhead and its scenic trails through the ALA! Registration is required via a waiver sent after booking â all guests must be listed on the Agreement Form. Bring your ALA Membership Card when accessing the lake or trails.
Enjoy hiking, walking, running, swimming (best at Bobâs Beach below the house), or fishing from the trails. Boats, docks, Beach Clubs, and Village docks are off-limits. Trail #7 nearby leads to a sandy beach and connects to the full lake trail system (video instructions provided).
For water activities, book a boat charter with McKenzie Ski School or drive 20 minutes to Lake Gregory for rentals like paddleboards and kayaks (boating on Lake Arrowhead is not allowed for short-term guests).

The Neighborhood:
The Palisades neighborhood is Lake Arrowheadâs hidden gemâcharming, well-kept, and easily walkable. It offers a peaceful mountain escape while staying close to all the areaâs attractions.
Our home is a 5-minute drive to Lake Arrowhead Village, 7 minutes to Blue Jay Village, under 10 minutes to Santaâs Village, and just a short walk to Jensenâs Grocery and Cedar Glen shops.
*Roads are plowed in winter and ideal for walking year-round.
Getting Around:
Getting around Lake Arrowhead is easiest by car. Most attractions, shops, and dining spots are within a short drive. The roads are well-maintained, and parking is usually available at popular spots like Lake Arrowhead Village and Blue Jay Village. In winter, be sure your vehicle is equipped with snow chains or all-wheel drive, as mountain conditions can change quickly. For those who enjoy walking, the Palisades neighborhood and nearby trails are scenic and pedestrian-friendly.
Other Things to Note:
- Our home is comfortable all four seasons. We have a brand new central A/C and heating system, custom wood burning stove in the living room that can heat the entire house, as well as a whole home automatic generator so the weather never gets in the way of your vacation. These are all rare finds in Arrowhead.
- The bedroom with 2 twin beds and playroom is connected to the 3rd bedroom which has a king bed, lounge area and private workspace.
- Winter Travel: Tire chains and/or 4 wheel drive may be required to drive in the mountains depending on weather and road conditions. We strongly recommend you always keep chains with you when driving in the mountains during winter as weather conditions can change rapidly.
- There are 5 driveway parking spots for guests to use. During the winter months the 2 parking spots in the lower driveway will not be available, so there will be 3 driveway parking spots for guests in the wintertime.
Pet Policy:
- Approval Required: All pets must be approved by the host. Add them to your reservation and include their weight and breed in a message.
- Allowed: 1 hypoallergenic or low-shedding dog up to 30 pounds per reservation.
- Fee: $150; guests staying over two weeks must schedule a mid-stay cleaning.
- Unapproved Pets: $500 fee or more for unapproved pets. Additional fees may apply for damages caused by pets.
- Pets must have their own bed, cannot be on furniture or beds, and must be walked for bathroom needs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets.
- Weâve created a beautiful, welcoming space for friends and family to relax and enjoy time together. To respect our home and our neighborhood, only guests on the booked reservation are permitted on the property, and no additional visitors are allowed without prior approval. We kindly remind guests that our home is not a party house.
- Guests must observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum and move conversations indoors after 9 PM to respect neighbors. If you plan to make excessive noise, this property may not be suitable for you.
- To maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask that guests refrain from playing loud outdoor music or using portable speakers. We appreciate your understanding in helping us be respectful of our neighbors and community. If there is a noise-related violation issued by the City of Lake Arrowhead due to noise concerns, guests may be responsible for any fines. By booking, you acknowledge our âgood neighbor policyâ and agree to cover any fines if this policy is not followed.
Cancellation Policy:
Our nightly rate includes a 3% credit card processing fee, which is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. This applies to all booking platforms and direct bookings, except for those made through Airbnb.
