Excellent Hosts

We really enjoyed this house and the location. The house is full of conveniences (coffee, snacks, toiletries, etc) and a very well stocked kitchen. Lots of room. An excellent host who communicates well and cares about the customer experience.

Great Property!

This house was exactly what we needed while we were in town with our friends and dogs. The property was really clean, well stocked, and super close to everything. We appreciated the quality of linens, cooking utensils, and small details that made our stay perfect. The host was also very easy to get in touch with and checked in often. Yes, there’s a train behind the house, but it wasn’t a bother because it’s a no horn zone. The neighborhood is transitional, but we saw many of the neighbors and felt extremely safe there. It absolutely would not deter us from coming back. Overall, one of our better rental experiences!

Charming weekend stay

I stayed with my 2 dogs and the home looked small from the outside, but the inside was very roomy. TBH I spent a lot of time on the back porch with the dogs. They enjoyed the backyard and the resting on the porch. The temps were cool enough to stay out for extended periods of time. I would 100% recommend this stay.

Graduation weekend

We rented the VRBO to attend TXST graduation and this fit all of our needs. Exceptional house and great property! We like to eat meals as a family and this kitchen had all the essentials we needed to cook multiple meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinners). There was adequate parking for multiple vehicles. Cozy house at the end of the street with a large back patio. There is a train track right behind the house but didn’t bother us at all. Thank you again for a great stay!

College Event

We drive down for a track meet. This place was perfect. Close to college. Rooms were nice and clean. Easy check in process. Easy drive to restaurants. I would stay here again.

Great Staying

It was our first family vacation here at San Marcos the property here it’s close to a lot of stores and beautiful views it was really wonderful. This house haves a big porch and we enjoyed staying there and having family moments. We really had a fun and good stay here. Thank you.

Great place!

We were visiting San Marcos for a tour of Texas State. The house is a great location - close to the university and downtown. House is spacious, kitchen is well stocked, and the teens loved the snacks provided. Has a great outdoor space as well. Perfect accommodations for our family. This will go our go to place to stay when we return to San Marcos!

Perfect place!!

Me, hubby, and five kids stayed to visit UTSA and Tx State and float the River. The host was so helpful and the house was perfect!! We had a great time would def book again!! Thank you for such great service!!

Short Trip to San Marcus Mr & Mrs and Our Dogs

The house was very clean well organized with attention to detail . The house could sleep up to 8 people if needed . The deck in the backyard is really nice partially covered enjoyed it a lot .The backyard has a few small issues with the fence but overall ok . The neighborhood is in transition but near lots of eating places and the outlet shops . The railroad tracks are behind the house the owner was nice to point that out but it did not bother us most of the trains come by during the day . The owner is very quick to respond to questions or requests. Thanks for the stay !

No more Embassy Suites

We always just grab a hotel - not anymore! This was great for family especially with kids. The backyard & for hole boards kept the kiddos happy (and out of our hair for long periods of time) definitely will be there again

Most beautiful house ever! Had everything we needed, including floats for the river! Quiet neighborhood but still very close to everything. The host responds within minutes, amazing communication! Would 100% stay here again for my next stay!

Cozy home

Everything about the stay was great! Had plenty of space, games, beds/sheets/pillows/blankets and cookware. Such a quiet neighborhood (aside from the train) which surprisingly didn’t bother us. The river is literally 7minutes away, stores and restaurants were also really close. Property manager was great with communication, no complaints so we didn’t have to reach out but he did to make sure we were okay. Recommend 10/10
