Wonderful for kids

Amazing Villa has everything you could wish for, pool perfect for kids and gated off! Nice and warm enough for my 1 and 3 year old ( god send ) all the toys were just amazing. The house outside the slide etc ! Will be back! 5*

An ideal family holiday option

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ashley - very well located on the central coast, allowing for easy access to all points of the island and an easy walk down to the local beach areas, restaurants and Spar supermarket in the shopping mall. The facilities of secure pool and play area are ideal for small children, whilst the accommodation is spacious, bright and airy. With an extensive range of TV choices, all tastes are catered for; bring your own games if you prefer this kind of home entertainment. Good wi-fi connectivity and broadband speed for those that wish to work remotely. For an optimum experience, the lounge furniture featured in the photographs online would probably have been more comfortable than the current version, whilst a few more glasses (hi-ball) in the kitchen and a few of the everyday basic kitchen essentials (e.g. dishwashing detergent, salt and pepper, bin liners) would be helpful and more sustainable, in part. However, we were very appreciative of the few supplies that Gabby, who ensured we were comfortably settled, had kindly placed in the fridge for us on our arrival. All in all, a great week and an excellent choice of villa and location (the adjacent flightpath to the airport did not bother us at all) - thank you very much!

Amazing holiday - October 2023

Just returned from staying at villa for a week. The villa is wonderful for families, everything has been thought about. The pool is a really good size and has locked gates for children safety when not in use. Our grandchildren loved the garden and all the toys to play with. Villa is in a good location and not too far to walk to the beach and shops. Gaby the property manager is lovely and very helpful, nothing is a problem to her. Definitely recommend staying here.

Such an amazing stay! The property was perfect for our 1 year old!

This property was exactly what we needed and our son loved all the toys! Gabby kept in contact with us throughout and answered all queries before we arrived. She had the cot set up for us already with bedding which made our late arrival easier! The bbq was perfect for evening meals whilst our son was asleep and the place had plenty of room. An amazing trip we won’t forget especially as the swimming pool was a highlight (gated so our son couldn’t go in unless we were there). Will definitely be rebooking.

Fijn verblijf vooral met jonge kinderen. Alles is in de buurt het huis is van alles voorzien om het verblijf aangenaam te maken. Kindjes hebben zich goed vermaakt in het zwembad en met het vele speelgoed in de tuin.

Great place for the kids

We've just arrived home from a week in the villa. 4 adults and 3 kids (5, 5 & 3). We had a great time there. The villa was great with plenty of space for us all. The rooms all have aircon, the kitchen was well equipped but most importantly the pool was lovely. The kids especially loved this! There were plenty of toys for the kids to play with and for some chill time plenty of channels on the TV. Even when a couple of things went wrong (coffee machine and a window) Gaby was straight on it with both replaced/fixed immediately. It's a short walk to the closest shops/restaurants/beach and a short taxi ride to the bigger town with more choice. A taxi from the airport to the villa took 10 mins and only cost €20 for all 7 of us. I'd have no hesitation recommending this villa to other families.

Fantastic family villa

Perfect villa for a family holiday especially if you have children with gated pool and ample toys for them to play with. Very clean throughout and comfortable didnt have any issues and had everything we needed. Great location on the golf course and close to the airport. Didnt have an issue the whole holiday and loved our stay will definitely be back.

Schönes Haus

Das Haus ist perfekt mit kleinen Kindern. Willkommenspaket. Schöner Poolbereich, großer Außenbereich. Wir haben uns erholt und auch wohlgefĂŒhlt. (5 Erw. + 2 Kinder) Die Bilder sind leider nicht mehr so aktuell, es gibt z. B. eine andere Couch (sehr unbequem) aber man ist ja bei der WĂ€rme fast nur draußen, das Haus ist jetzt weiß. Die Liege auf dem Dach war leider kaputt, ebenso die Liegen. Aber wir bekamen nach einer Woche aber 3 neue und die anderen sollen auch noch ausgetauscht werden. Es gab auch nur fĂŒr 7 Personen Geschirr u. Besteck. Man muss also jedesmal abwaschen um fĂŒr die nĂ€chste Mahlzeit was zu haben. Da nĂŒtzt auch der kleine GeschirrspĂŒler nichts. Besonderer Dank an Gabi , die immer geholfen hat, wenn man Fragen hatte.

Rude villa host and owner

The villa listing doesn't state everything you need to know. We had our friends round and we were rudely greated by the lady who looks after the villa. Stating they couldn't be there. Very rude in front of them. I then had a rude email from her. I contacted the owner of the villa who was also very rude and we were told if were not happy please leave. This is not what we expected on our arrival to the villa. We had planned a holiday with our friends who stayed in a different and then couldn't spend time with them as the villa description states nothing about having visitors over. Apart from this issue the villa was nice

Grandparents to grandson

Everything that we hoped for was met with this villa. The villa was clean and well provided for. Gaby kept in contact and was quick to help when needed, with an internet connection. Our grandson (2 1/2) loved the toys and the pool. The spar shop in the shopping centre was 13 minutes away - measured at 1200 yards and a superb beach 2minutes further on. A lovely 35 minutes stroll into Caleta along the coastal promenade with chipmunks to look out for. More than enough restaurants for a fortnight although not a lot of variety between the menus. The only improvements for us would be lights on the patio overlooking the table for beer and card playing at night and a child's toy golf set so Oliver could join in the putting. Not enough to detract from a very good experience.

As good as all the reviews say it is!

I'm always a little sceptical about online reviews but this villa really did live up to all the positive comments. Immaculately clean, great location, good size pool and well stocked with everything a family could need. A real home for home in the Sun. Gaby the agent really was amazing, she helped us with every request we had and recommended all the best restaurants and even booked for us one occasion. It really was wonderful to be back out in the sun again after COVID and we give this villa full 5 star rating.

Vacaciones en familia

Estuvimos alojados 14 días y la experiencia fue muy buena. La casa estå muy bien, la zona del jardín en perfecta para ir con niños como era nuestro caso. Había zona de juegos que estå separada de piscina por una valla para evitar accidentes. La piscina genial, le da el sol todo el día y era bastante grande. Gabi, la encargada de la casa es encantadora y siempre dispuesta a solucionar cualquier inconveniente. Si repetimos destino de vacaciones volveremos allí seguro.

2wk long awaited holiday.

We booked this villa for my husbands 60th birthday. From start to finish it was amazing! Gaby is fantastic at keeping you informed and answers emails promptly. Nothing is too much trouble. The villa was emmaculate both inside and out. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of storage space. The pool was great and our 4yr old granddaughter loved it... at times struggled to get her out ! The children's outside area was a great distraction from the pool and we spent alot of time playing with her. I would definitely recommend a visit to this stunning property. Thankyou.

Good Location and Perfect for Youngsters

The property is located adjacent to golf course and an easy walk to the beach and shops. Outside it has a secure garden with lots of toys for young children. Our grandson loved the Wendy house. Nice. heated pool securely fenced away from children play area. Superb roof terrace and small putting green for the adults. Excellent property manager onsite to ensure everything goes well. Will return to this excellent holiday home.

Beautiful villa in a quiet surrounding giving you that true home away from home feeling.

We stayed at this villa over mid term in October with 4 adults and 2 children. The location was perfect for us as we wanted somewhere quiet. It was short walk (7-10 minutes) from local shopping centre however taxi journeys are very cheap. The villa has everything you need from towels & bed linen to kitchen utensils and a full range of tv channels (which came in very handy for Rugby World Cup) as well as Netflix. Wifi had good strength too. This villa definitely gave us the home away from home feeling. Gaby was absolutely amazing during our stay, she had arranged a welcome pack such as water, milk, bread, ham, cheese etc to get us started which we were very thankful for given how late we arrived at night. The check in process is seamless with coded key box. She gave us information about celebrating Halloween locally and went out of her way to make our daughter feel extra special on her 8th birthday. She added a personal touch to our stay which we greatly appreciated. She is a true hospitality professional. The villa was spotlessly clean, beds are very comfortable, good water pressure in showers and it has all mod cons you need. The pool was heated and whilst some might say is a little small, it was just perfect for us. The amenities they have provided in the garden for the kids are superb and even the adults got enjoyment from them. The only very small negative point we had which is beyond the villa owners control is the street lights were not working for the last 3 nights and with the time of year we stayed it’s darker much earlier so it limited play time hours in the garden for the kids as it got too dark to see where you were going. I hope the council resolve this issue soon for the owners. Overall a fantastic offering in this villa and we will most definitely be back to stay very soon.

Already looking to book for next year!

This was our first family holiday abroad with our 12 month old Daughter and we had an amazing time! One can imagine how we baby proof our home on a day to day basis. Prior to our arrival, the property manager, Gaby had already considered this and more; we had little worry with regards to our little one being able to get her hands on something she shouldn’t. Even simple things have been considered, for example having the whole garden tiled and/or astroturfed so that little ones don’t pick anything up and the area around the (heated) pool being fenced off. We arrived at the villa quite late in the evening after a fifteen (ish) minute taxi ride and were given a code to a security box to collect the keys. We received a lovely welcome pack and even here, Gaby had given extra consideration to that fact that we had travelled with a youngster and included some extras for baby. After settling for the evening, we were ready for our holiday to really begin the next morning. The gardens which run around the whole of the property were wonderful! There were plenty of outdoor toys for our little one to play with, as you will be able to see from the photographs. There was even a further box full of toys for all the family to enjoy (our group ranging from 12 months to 75 years). Internally, everything again had been thought of and we didn’t need for anything. The kitchen and outside barbecue areas were fully stocked with utensils and the living areas very comfortable. All UK and Irish television channels are available, along with movies aplenty - a fabulous system! Gaby checked in on us every so often to make sure all was okay and we were so grateful for her coming to meet us upon vacating the villa, as the taxi we had pre booked did not arrive and she arranged another for us (actually driving to the taxi rank at the nearby Atlantico centre to sort). From a locality point of view, the villa is around a maximum of five minutes taxi ride or half an hour walk to the main town were there are some lovely bars and restaurants (Fado Rock is a must!), plus shops, hotels, beaches, pharmacies and doctors surgeries. There is a shopping centre a bit nearer to the villa (around a five to ten minute walk away), which has an array of shops, including a large eurospar supermarket (cheaper than the smaller supermarkets in the town) and restaurants (Shivams is recommended), plus access to the beach and children’s play areas. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely Villa! Great Location, Brilliant Hosts!

I couldn’t have asked for much more from this stay! The Villa was lovely and is exactly as shown on the photographs, it is a ten minute walk max to the shopping centre and beach (passing McDonald’s on the way for a pit stop!) where you have everything you need and then I’ve you want to go out in the evening it is only a five minute taxi into Town where you can go to restaurants and bars. The Villa is also literally in between two golf courses which can be seen very clearly from the roof terrace. Clive and Gaby were very welcoming and dropped regular messages to check you was ok or suggest a local event , great hosts and genuinely nice people. I will definitely be using the Villa again and would recommend to anyone!
