The perfect spot to relax on the water

Couldn't have asked for a better accommodation for a family get together around Traverse City. The home is spacious but cozy and feels lived-in, had other amenities not listed on VRBO that Kelly & Julie offered when we arrived. There's nothing quite like being right on the water where you can go out and swim, stand up paddle board, or relax on the lounge chairs at the end of the dock. The hot tub was out-of-order, but Kelly made it right by allowing us to take the boat out for a day! Thanks for the generous hospitality!

Mission Peninsula Stay

We loved all the fun and helpful touches of the house. The kitchen had everything we could have needed, the bar area downstairs was great for the adults and the snow cone machine was loved by the kids. Being on the water was fantastic and so relaxing. The paddle boards and the floating trampoline were also huge pluses. The nearby wineries were easy to visit too. The only thing we didn’t love was the road noise but ear plugs or a noise machine took care of that issue. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others with a large group or family.

The perfect Michigan getaway

We stayed at the Clark’s over July 4th with a group of close friends. Having created an annual tradition of a July 4th getaway, this exceeded all years prior. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of towels, kitchenware (in a kitchen impeccably organized and labeled), outdoor activities (cornhole, SUPs, hot tub) and more. Kelly was thorough in walking through the property pointing out all the features, which we were then left to enjoy. Located right on the water, we took advantage of the paddle boards and jetski hire, and it’s just a short trip into town for groceries. It’s also conveniently located near great wineries and food stalls. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, already planning next year’s stay!

"I want to live here!"

Those were the words of our 6 year old grandson as we were packing up to leave, while his four year old cousins were crying "no we don't want to go!". We had the best week with our family celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary! This home literally has everything you could ever need and more! We loved the location; private yet close enough to town, wineries a step away, gorgeous Caribbean-esque water with a water trampoline that was 4 stars from the kiddos! We slept well, ate well and played well. The Clarks were great hosts anticipating all we would need, even supplying extra toys for the kiddos! Thank you thank you thank you for helping us celebrate love and family!

Great lake home

Our family had a very nice stay. We enjoyed the beautiful home with direct lake access. Enjoyed time around the firepit, in the hot tub, and spent lots of time on the paddleboards and lake trampoline. All communication with the owners had a quick response. Kitchen has all the supplies you need to have a nice meal. Beautiful view of the lake from the family room, kitchen and bar.
