Lovely, comfortable living space that includes a screened in porch with great views of the property. Enjoyed watching deer stopping by and our dog loved running around the large yard. Kitchen was very complete. The two bedrooms were complete with closet space and had plenty of room for my dog’s kennel .

Very clean and well furnished cabin. The host was very responsive to questions and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the screen porch was perfect for watching the deer and turkey grazing every night in the back yard. I will definitely book again.

The house itself is properly stocked and we had no lack of anything needed to enjoy our stay. The location of the property is, in my opinion, the best feature. It is completely private, no other homes visible, no cars or car noise from a road or highway. Wildlife is abundant. The host was easily and readily accessible. But we had no need of anything so didn’t need to communicate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this place.

Weekend getaway

Private country setting with a stream running in the back of the property. Sitting in the screened in porch, listening to the rain, watching the deer run by… it was beautiful and very relaxing.. will book again!

This truly was one of the most magical properties I've stayed and could not have asked for a better place for my kids to run around and enjoy our vacation visiting family in Galax. From the moment we drove up and saw a bunch of turkeys, to the mini deer and fawns grazing in the large field, to the bunnies and lightning bugs, there was never a lacking for seeing wildlife! Our favorite part was definitely the creek. I think I enjoyed walking around and exploring all the beautiful rocks and flowers and vegetation as much as the kids loved chasing Crawfish and turning over rocks. Oh, and how could I almost forgot the most beautiful bright rainbow that stretch over the house!The house itself could not have been more adorable with amazing and unique woodworking on most of the furniture. And homie touches that made us feel like this was our own place. It was fitted with all of the amenities and more, was incredibly comfortable and we loved the back screened porch for playing games and putting together puzzles at night. The property is just a short drive to Galax making it easy to run back and forth with the kids when we needed to change clothes or just take a break for a little bit before the next set of activities.We will absolutely be staying at this property again when we go back to visit our family in the future!

We loved this cabin. It was amazing inside and outside. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Cabin had everything we needed plus more.

The most we enjoyed about this location it was a very quiet relaxing place to relax and enjoy the creek out front and a continuous flow of deer roaming through the yard each day. I will definitely be re booking in the future

Awesome get away

Peaceful getaway

This cabin offers a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy nature. It is fully equipped and we loved the enclosed porch and outside deck. It is also close to stores and restaurants. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!
