Beläget vid Crown Point Resort på toppen av en kulle med utsikt över 3000 hektar Kegonsa Lake, sätter stuga # 4. Det är en stor ceder ensidig två våningar, 3BR 3BA hem (1500 SF). Inuti finns ett fullt utrustat kök med diskmaskin och massor av kastruller och stekpannor, tvättstuga, 4 kabel-TV, och air con enheter i alla tre sovrum. Utanför finns en skärmad veranda och ett däck med en Weber kolgrill. Det finns en swingset / sandlåda område bredvid däck och en brygga för att binda din båt eller kasta ett bete. Madison har en mängd mat, musik och aktiviteter bara 15 minuter bort. Detta är ett bra ställe för familjer att träffas. Jag har flera som har hållit för 15 somrar!Vi hyra kajaker, en paddel båt, 2 fiskebåtar och en ponton. Inga husdjur. Ligger på # 1 rankade Crown Point Resort, är # 4 stugan också topprankad av VRBO.

We loved staying at the cottage on Lake Kegonsa. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are as described; the kitchen was well stocked; and the view was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again, if the opportunity presented itself!

Stayed for 3 nights from out of state. Had last minute cancellation so invited local family to stay. Other family and friends stopped by to say hi and to visit. On site management was not happy with traffic and family visiting had to find temporary pet accommodations or we were going to be evicted. Cottages were nice and spacious and convenient but next stay would be where we would not feel like being watched.

Gorgeous cottage, gorgeous grounds, gorgeous lake, gorgeous atmosphere. The place is really undersold and we were so blown away. The cottage is just fantastic with the washer, dryer, and dishwasher to make our stay so stress-free. The beds were so comfortable and the linens fresh and inviting. Truly can't say enough about what a fantastic time we all had and how truly beautiful this place is. We will absolutely be back.

Beautiful Lake Setting for a Fun Weekend

A Vendor and his son were in town with me for a Badgers Football Game and the setting was superb - very calming and beautiful scenery around the Lake. The Property Manager/Owner was awesome and I will definitely be returning on future trips to Madison.

On the lake

Great location but the mattress wasn’t the best and the window air conditioner didn’t cool. It is an older property with 1980’s furniture and decor.

Great Property

Frank is a gracious host, and the property was as described. Perfect fit four our family of 4 - individual bedrooms, great spot to watch TV, and indoor and outdoor spots to play games. Would gladly return.

some suggestions for improvement

I would suggest that VRBO post a notice in a more prominent position on the website that this is a NONREFUNDABLE reservation and that the cancellation policy be posted more prominently. When I found that several family members couldn't attend because of Covid, I looked into cancellation and discovered it was non-refundable. As it stands, we are being charged for six people when only three of us were able to stay. The charges at the end of our stay do not reflect this reduced number. The cabin itself was warm and comfortable and Frank, the property manager, was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful resort on gorgeous lake

Huge, rustic cabin-like resort stay. So much room for me & my family. Sunrise on the lake was a beautiful treasure. Easy to find, close to the wedding venue we were attending & close to grocery store too. Frank was very welcoming and cared for our needs.

Better than advertised

We looked at a ton of properties online and this one interested us from the very beginning. We hesitated because there were no photos of the bathrooms and there weren't many photos of the house. So glad we took the risk and rented. Just as others reviewed, the property was very clean. The bathrooms are updated. We visited during may fly season so we didn't spend a lot of time outside after dark, but would love to return another time and would definitely stay again.

Lake Kegonsa is still undiscovered. Great fishing and water sports. It is a short drive to all the fun that Madison offers.

This is a uncrowded lake close to Madison. Water fun is right out your door. Kayak, paddleboat, fishing and pontoon boat rentals. Boat dockage on the pier is free.
