Amazing Visit to the North Shore

What a gorgeous spot. The beautiful decor, furniture, and fireplace, along with a luxurious kitchen and bath really made our stay wonderful. Plus, the views of Lake Superior could not be better! During our winter visit the surf was pounding, and the waves were putting on an amazing show. I loved being able to hear the waves as I fell asleep each night.

four generations getting together.

Our stay was amazing. The cottage is absolutely stunning and beautiful. It’s right on Lake superior with amazing views. We hiked, biked, and rented e-bikes just down the street. We rode the bikes along the Gitchi gami Trail. I highly recommend this stunning Cottage..

Lovely home, but pricey added fees

We enjoyed our stay very much. However, we were surprised by the excessively high host and service fees that totaled $766 for 3 days! I doubt we will stay there again due to these excessive fees. We would have liked ice cube trays and a microwave. Otherwise it was well furnished.

Our cottage was consciously designed to integrate all the colors and textures from the shore, so you'll have a seamless indoor/outdoor experience.

After searching for a property for several years, we are delighted to be owners of this precious Lake Superior lakeshore. We're so lucky to have a small rock beach to the north of the house, perfect for an afternoon of skipping rocks.

Yond Cottage was renovated in 2023 by Minneapolis based interior design firm Yond Interiors. With an emphasis on natural materials and guest experience, the Yond Cottage has something for everyone.
