Enjoy relaxing with your family at this peaceful newly built cabin. The cabin is within 200 yards to the Obey river that feeds Dale Hollow Lake. This property location you can enjoy lots of fun Kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming. East Port Marina within minutes on the water and 10 minutes by land. There is also a extra boat ramp within 5 minutes from the cabin. Enjoy the back porch activities with fire pit, grilling, playing corn hole or just a peaceful afternoon listening to the nature.

Great Girls Getaway

This cabin was so cute and perfect for a girl’s weekend. Bridget was the best host and answered any questions we had quickly. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Summary of stay

The only reason i gave it a 5 star was because of the excessive Wasps,the kids kept getting stung,there were so many wasp that we couldn't relax outside comfortably without sitting in our own chairs we brought away from the porch,wasp were everywhere;nests under the arms of the chairs even on the Balcony. Cabin had a Awsome set up! The lights,firepit and covered patio was perfect, had everything for the perfect getaway except for the take over of wasp,if it wasn't for that would have rated it a 10 out of a 10. We were just really upset about not being able to enjoy sitting on the Balcony and porch swing.

Peace and serenity

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Bridgett was an amazing host and her cabin is spotless. The location is quiet, private, and is just a short walk to the water. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well stocked. We especially enjoyed the fire pit outside and the wood burning fireplace inside. We would 100% stay here again!

Family & Friends Getaway

We had a nice relaxing getaway with family & friends. This cabin was very secluded with walking distance to river. We loved all the little touches that come with the cabin, such as wood for the fire pit to kayaks. We fished and swam in river and grilled out a lot. We were amazed at how well the internet service was also. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Great cabin and wo fearful access to the river!

Loved the property, especially the entertainment space outside. We turned off the exterior lights to see the wonderful sky, full of stars! There are other cabins near by but we kind of liked having some people near us. Loved kayaking! We will return.

Family fun

The cabin was beautiful and well laid out for the cozy space. It was very clean and just like this pictures! Wi-Fi worked great, the host has many special touches for her guest. The outdoor space was amazing and they thought of everything, grills and fire pit chairs and corn hole. We enjoyed naps in the hammock and walks to the river. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a repeat stay for us.

Just what we needed!

Amazing cabin. Perfect in nearly every way. Very well thought out with added staples to make the trip easy which is great since it is very far to get to town. Especially since you really do not want to leave. River access that is beautiful. Bring good seasoned wood, plenty of food/drinks and enjoy yourself. Front cement porch is great. Keeps tracking dirt down and gives kids a place to play. Love, love, love this place!

Cute cabin

This cabin is very cute. It’s new and clean. They utilized every inch of a small space. And add a few personal touches to make your stay special. The outdoor area is amazing. The living area is very small considering how many beds the cabins has. If everyone wanted to hang out together we had to go outside. The only issue we had was the beds were not very comfortable.

The property was so unique and hospitable. We stayed here on short notice after a death in the family and the accommodations were just what we needed. Could of stayed for a week in this secluded area to get away. Also, the internet was really good even in the middle of nowhere which was nice! I have never been in a vacation rental this hospitable, need a coffee filter she had it, would of been nice if you had s’mores stuff and fire wood? it was right there, wanted to make pancakes and needed non stick spray? in the pantry. We will be back next time we are visiting family in the area forsure!

Immaculate cozy cabin

This place was great. The cabin was laid out nicely for several people & was immaculate. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if it was right on the lake & the weather had been better. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Bridget for sharing your home.

Awesome cabin.

It was a good time. The cabin was very well organized and had everything we needed. Very easy to check in. Only thing that was a little odd to us was the neighbor, he seemed very strange. The driveway/road to the cabin was very tight. All in all it was a great place and we had an awesome weekend.

Getaway

We stayed at the cabin with family friends for a weekend getaway. The cabin was adorable and exactly what we were looking for. We spent the weekend playing games, enjoyed the fireplace, and spent some time walking to the river. It was a wonderful weekend and everyone mentioned how much they would love to come back!

Birthday ride

My friends and I celebrated my birthday with a stay at pa’s cabin. The cabin was clean, well appointed and very nice. The owners have thought of everything in out opinion. It was quite a ride to the trail, but worth it. We trailered out sxs to pickett state park, and rode through some beautiful scenery. Arriving back a peaceful surrounding awaited us! Pa,s cozy cabin is a must.
