If you're looking for a small place for a romantic getaway or a small family gathering...look no further. This unit has a King main bedroom plus a King second bedroom with extra hall bunks for the little ones. Living / Dining / Kitchen. Deck on the front for ocean view and off the main bedroom for sunset views. Community Pool / Grill Area / Tennis Court / Kids Playground. Only about a 2 minute walk to the beach. Keyless Entry / Sheets and Towels provided.

Just right for my family

We were thoroughly pleased with the condo. It was well appointed and fit my family just fine. The views were quite Pleasant especially sitting on the deck in the evenings. The condo is very close to the beach and was an easy walk. The condo itself was very clean and we had no concerns in that respect. As someone who enjoys cooking having a nice sharp knife to use was well appreciated. I highly recommend staying here if you should find yourself in Duck.

Fantastic Duck Condo

Ray of Sunshine is simply perfect. Everything is updated and fresh. The view and balconies are great. Short walk to the beach. Sunrise views phenomenal. So many amenities - TVs, books, board games. The condo is so close to downtown Duck - great location. Lisa went out of her way to make our stay wonderful -- the best host!

My family and I were so comfortable and enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place so much! There is just an ease she has created for anyone to come and stay without worry that was delightful! Thank you so much for that and we would highly recommend staying here and we would love to again!

Highly recommend

We had a great stay at this condo and highly recommend it. Lisa was extremely attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The condo was the nicest, best stocked and most updated condo we’ve ever stayed at within Colony by the Sea. The large deck was a nice bonus, and we loved the variety of outdoor furniture on it. Wonderful location. Great pick!

As Good As It Gets

Lisa's place was like a home away from home. She provided everything we could possibly want and need for our visit to the beach. The place was cutely decorated and so clean! The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. She clearly thinks of each of her guests. We enjoyed every moment of our time there and hope to return again.

Duck Vacation

“A Ray of Sunshine”was a great condo to stay in. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of needing. Lisa was always available. The views from the deck were very nice. The condo was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was always attended to. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Family Beach Time

The unit had everything you could ask for and more!! The area was family oriented - no loud music or loud groups. Good outdoor space when tired of the ocean or pool. Definitely would recommend this end unit again-sunrise and sunset!

We truly enjoyed our stay at “A Ray of Sunshine”! The listing was accurate and the property was beautiful. The location was perfect for our family of 3. The property was outfit with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The views from the desks were wonderful. I wouldn’t change a thing! We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Best Ever

A Ray of Sunshine was the absolute best! Lisa was the best host I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The Condo was perfect. Absolutely everything was provided for us. The kitchen was equipped with anything that we needed. Lisa is great. She responded immediately to any questions that we had. She even invited us to arrive a day early. She also gave us a recommendation for a wild horse tour company and, it was perfect. I can't say enough about her. She definitely goes above and beyond. I would recommend A Ray of Sunshine to anyone and look forward to visiting again.

Hello, and thank you for checking out "A Ray of Sunshine". I have owned this condo for several years and have rented through a management company....but have decided to make a change to VRBO so I can work directly with potenital renters. This is truly My Happy Place and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. :)

Varför värden valde detta boende

If you only need a place for a small gatheriing of family or friends, please consider "A Ray of Sunshine". With it's 2 bedrooms and extra hall bunks, it will give you enough room to spread out and relax without needing 4 levels of living. Nothing like being close enough to the beach to set up your chair and then walk back to the unit to grab a bite to eat or take a quick potty break without dragging everything with you. I leave extra beach chairs and an umbrella there for your use, please help yourself, then return them for the next guest to enjoy.

The kitchen is fully equiped for your needs.....I even added an air fryer last year because I enjoy using mine at home all the time.

There are board games and puzzles for you to use if there happens to be a rainy day during your stay
