From a glorious sunrise to an endless sunset, your day will be filled with the melodic singing of birds and purr of the river flow while you sip local wine from the cantilever deck overlooking the vineyard and river below. Visit historic Lockeford and pick up sausage form the renowned Lockeford Meats and Sausage Butcher Shop. Enjoy the many nearby wineries for tasting and events. This beautiful, remodeled home is an open floor plan with a large kitchen, a dining table for 8 plus another table perfect for game night or dining that seats 6. There is also a built in table that seats 4 joining the kitchen and great room. Visit, watch a movie, or enjoy a puzzle in the lounge area containing 3 couches, tv, and fireplace. Access the wrap around deck from here, the side entry door or front entry door. Perfect for taking in the fresh air with a cup of coffee, scenic views, and quality time while BBQing that delicious sausage, nibbling take out from a local restaurant or popping open that new favorite wine you found wine tasting nearby. The cottage is adorned with colorful roses along outside borders and yard highlights the natural setting with native majestic oak trees and regional plants. Enjoy the sights and sounds and sweet tranquility that makes this a refreshing and rejuvenating getaway.

A few decades ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to purchase this ranch piece by piece from original family members who owned it for as long as we can go back. We are proud to be continuing the longtime tradition that comes from multiple generations of farming from row crops to the wine grapes, organic walnuts, hay, and pumpkins currently being grown. We have also raised many precious memories at this ranch and we are so excited for you to do the same!

From the glorious sunrises, through the days filled with singing birds and hum of tractors in the distance concluding with an endless sunsets slowly resting so the starry nights can begin - you will understand why we love this ranch so much!

It's a world away from the busy world, yet only a short trip to find fun or food nearby. We are located near several local wineries that offer up creative venues and delectable wines. The nearby town of Lockeford has a handful of unique eateries that vary in price, menu options, and character. It won't take long for you to wish you were a local, no worries, you'll be welcomed like you already are!
Some favorites to check out: the sauce at Webster's in Clements, the pies at the fruit stand in Clements, breakfast at Country Kitchen, and of course Lockeford Meats and Sausage - don't let the line scare you, they only let a few folks in at a time to keep it personal and the line moves fast - be sure to pick up some of the meat sticks to snack on. For the wine tasters: M2 Wines, Bokish Wines, Durst Winery, Intercoastal Wines, and Harney Lane Winery are a few places to enjoy a toast to your adventures at River's Edge...sooo many more wonderful wineries to enjoy.
