Residing on the banks of Bethesda Lake, this cabin is complete with complimentary kayaks, a hot tub, pool table, fire pit, cornhole game, the pristine view of heavily stocked Bethesda Lake and the surrounding mountains. This cabin in Mena Arkansas is one of the most desired cabin in Arkansas! Fishing, swimming, hiking and complimentary kayaking are all right out your front door. Abundant trailer parking with Wolf Pen Gap RIDE-IN Access just down the road! Bethesda Lakehouse is a 3-bedroom 2 bathroom lakeside cabin that sleeps 14. Two king bedrooms and one bunk loft that has four full beds. Flush with Ouachita Mountain outdoor adventures, you can rent an ATV and ride the hundreds of miles of riding, fish, swim, visit the local state parks or enjoy any number of other outdoor activities in these beautiful Ouachita Mountains! Romantic Peaceful Getaway

This property was clean, well decorated and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Back porch view and waterfall near by was gorgeous. Went for a great hike near the property.

House is VERY nice and very well equipped. The setting is beautiful and close to Mena. The host were very informative about the area and quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this property if you are in the area!

What a Lovely Getaway!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Lakehouse. Incredibly easy access to the ATV trails for a full day of roaming. At the end of the day, we had a nice fire in the fire pit for us to sit around and talk. Later in the evening, my husband and soaked in the hot tub, listening to the wind in the pines and watching the stars. Loved our stay here!

Just Right

Walking in the spacious living room and kitchen was welcoming . Then the view captured our attention. It was perfect for a group of women that wanted to get away. We walked the area and it is beautiful. The kitchen has everything we needed. Communication with the property owner was easy and quick. Hot Tub and Pool Table was used. The huge dining table was used see for deep talks and wonderful games. Would definitely check in again if we head that direction.

Loved our stay

Great view. Great space. Great communication. Hot tub was a great feature. Loved the fire pit. Pretty much perfect for a last minute booking. Thank you!

Bethesda Lakehouse is part of Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins (near Mena Arkansas) which was created and owned by Michael & Jessica Myers. Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins is located on and around Bethesda Lake. Bethesda Lake was constructed in 1925 and was set to be the centerpiece to a resort back in those days. The resort plan for this resort fell by the wayside and the Great Depression led to the complete collapse of the plan to create the resort back in those days. In the early 30s, the Watkins family became the owners of the property and built some smaller cabins and also hosted seasonal swimming for an annual fee. The resort at that time was known as Lake Bethesda Resort. Lake Bethesda Resort closed in the late 60s at the will of the Watkins family at that time. During the following 50 years, minimal maintenance was performed on the property and it became completely ran down. The cabins were bulldozed and the beauty of the lake and surrounding property became covered in unsightly brush. Roll forward to 2019, Michael & Jessica Myers (owners of Bethesda Springs Properties), purchased Bethesda Lake and the surrounding land with a passionate vision to restore the property to it's original glory, and maybe take it to a level that is even better. Michael & Jessica, with the help of local craftsmen, began bringing their vision to life with the construction of cabins on or near the lake. Today, Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins is comprised of 300 acres and 10 cabins and there are other cabins in the construction plans that will be constructed on surrounding mountaintops. These mountain cabins will have views that rival the Smokey Mountains - stay tuned! Bethesda Lakehouse is the original cabin on the lake. In 2020, the cabin was completely stripped and made new again. We welcome you to book this cabin and experience it, feel the love that was poured into the restoration of this cabin. You will absolutely love the cabin, lake and surrounding area.
