Enjoy this cozy cabin in the woods. Nestled in the red pines just minutes from Traverse City. Appreciate all that the seasons have to offer with family and friends. Relax by the outdoor fire pit or enjoy the beautiful lakes nearby. The Northern Michigan night sky offers an amazing view of the Milky Way and even an occasional display of the Northern Lights. Unplug and enjoy the woodlands and when you want to reconnect with the outside world there is wireless internet and a 60" tv, or take time for a game of shuffleboard. Freestanding fireplace gives a relaxing glow while watching the beautiful sunsets. One mile to ORV, snowmobile and equestrian trails. Close to the TART biking and hiking trails, 18 hole disk golf course, lakes, casinos, wineries and shopping. Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.

Cozy modern and rustic!

Our family stayed here and we loved it. Close to Traverse City and Fife Lake is very quaint. Very clean and quiet and hosts were communicative and pleasant. We hope to be able to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Weekend Soccer Tournament

My family stayed here for the weekend because we had a soccer tournament to go to. We loved the location, Wayne was so nice and the place is adorable. We would love to come back!

AMAZING stay!

We had the best stay at the Hodge Lodge - it's even more impressive than the pictures. From its serene setting to the thoughtful touches that made our stay so enjoyable, Wayne and his wife have one of the best vacation rentals out there! Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Unique and beautiful place!

Great Up North Retreat

The Hodge Lodge was perfect, my husband and I enjoyed everything about. The cabin was very well maintained, bed was comfortable, very clean and just a great place to stay. One of the best rentals we have stayed at. Our dogs enjoyed themselves as well.

Perfect cottage in the woods

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, we had a great time with our four year old and it was a peaceful jumping off spot for all of our up north adventures. We would definitely stay again and share the listing with friends looking for a low key up north adventure.

Overall a great experience! Would recommend!

This was an amazing place to stay and the Hosts were very communicative and respectful! Great family history at this location that added to the charm of the property. We are even thinking about booking again in the winter!

Amazing place

The cabin had everything we needed. Immaculately clean, decor was super cute! We loved that it was a little out of the hustle and bustle but still close enough. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would most definitely stay again! Very highly recommend!

Cozy stay in the north woods

Lovely visit - cabin was comfortable, cozy and and ideal for unwinding in front of the gas stove inside, porch swing or outdoor fire pit. Wildlife was special and the location get remote although it is close to Traverse City.

Fun for work or play

Appreciated how clean the property was and the thoughtful hospitality touches owners made with goodies in the kitchen. Desk upstairs was helpful for those of us who work a little while we vacation. Very relaxing long weekend stay.
