Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights over the Fourth of July with 3 families (12 people) & 2 dogs. The house is beautiful, spotless, and stocked with just about everything you need. The beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a rental. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the basement was perfect for the kids and teens. The extra kitchen and refrigerator downstairs were a huge plus. Having enough bathrooms for each family, including two attached to bedrooms, made the stay even more convenient. The river is right in the backyard, but the house sits high enough with plenty of trees for great privacy. During the heat wave, the kids’ bunk room lost power one night after a bad storm, but a local family member came by the next morning and quickly fixed the issue.Cons: These are very minor. Each bathroom only had two towels, so with the heat, river trips, dirty kids, and multiple showers a day, we ended up doing a lot of laundry. The washer, dryer, and laundry pods made that easy. Also, the path to the sandy river beach (about a 5-minwalk) was heavily overgrown with poison ivy and poison oak, so we couldn’t safely use it with family members who are highly allergic. Especially carrying coolers, chairs, etc. Just a note for others & for maybe the owner to clean it up a bit. My husband & I checked out the beach alone and it was awesome though.Overall, we loved our stay, would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend this home!
