Great Stay!

This was our second time staying at this house! Kevin and Doug are both very responsive and communicate well leading up to the stay. The house was perfect for our group of 8. Beautiful yard and pool. Would definitely stay there again!

Fabulous Home

We were in Palm Springs for a wedding weekend. The house was large so we were able to spread out and relax. It’s a beautiful place with everything needed and we enjoyed our time tremendously.

Great Weekend Away

Everyone was incredibly responsive when we had questions/concerns about the property! The house was beautiful, clean, and private. It was the perfect weekend away with friends. All the amenities were wonderful and the backyard was a perfect hang out spot! Would definitely book again for a weekend out in the desert!

Fabulous!

This was a birthday week stay and the property was amazing! It was so large and spacious, the kitchen was well appointed and made cooking a breeze, the pool was a welcome relief from the heat, the hot tub melted away the stresses and the backyard covered patio was perfect for gathering and enjoying meals with the view of the mountains as the backdrop.

Great house; wonderful pool

We were nine people across three generations and the house was well equipped to accommodate all of us. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. We had a wonderful hike in Joshua Tree National Park.

Great house for group

8 of us stayed comfortably in the house. A/C works great, the backyard is the perfect hangout spot, and the pool table downstairs is a great supplement. Would definitely recommend this house to a large group looking for a house to chill out for a few days.

Family holiday with children and grandchildren

The property was everything we had hoped for. The space was perfect to spread out and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. The neighbourhood is so beautiful and quiet and the pool and hot tub was great to have even though the weather was on the cooler side. Doug and Kevin were so easy to communicate with and we hope to come back again soon. I highly recommend this beautiful property.

Perfect Place

Eight of us stayed at this property. It was perfect in every way. It had everything we needed, spacious, and clean. The check-in process was easy. Instructions and expectations were clear and realistic. The location was perfect (close to stuff, yet far away from the busy downtown area). The pool area was fabulous! Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone visiting Palm Springs. Will definitely book this space again in the future.

Golf Trip

The home comes as advertised. Great location, clean, quiet, and fully stocked with essentials. Hosts were accommodating on many different levels. The home’s 6 year old fridge stopped working. This was unexpected and no fault of the owners. A new fridge arrived a few days later. The owner graciously offered a partial refund for the inconvenience and food lost. Very kind gesture. Our group of 8 would return to this home again. The back yard/ pool area is fantastic. We spent many hours in the pool/ hot tub. Great place!

Exceptional Home, Responsive Hosts --But be quiet!

We enjoyed our family Christmas get together at this home. The back yard is extremely nice, boasting a pool, hot tub, a gas fire pit, and a water feature that doubles as a screen for the hot shower behind. There’s also an outdoor grill area and TV (move on that later). In all, the back is landscaped nicely, and very comfortable. The common spaces inside are generously roomy. And the furniture is in good shape and laid out well for a group of our size. The kitchen is well appointed and lacks for nothing--except of all things, a hand mixer. The range is electric, not gas, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The double oven/microwave with convection is a great—and unexpected—upgraded feature.Communication with Kevin, an owner, was timely and informative. He is a seasoned short-term landlord and, while it’s a clearly a business, he still provides an appreciated personal touch. The city requires that a separate agreement be signed between the property owners and renters, which includes, among other things, some stringent noise prohibitions with draconian penalties. I’d encourage the hosts to provide this agreement to the renters immediately after the booking is approved rather than wait until the cancelation window has passed. No harm, no foul for us. But I think it’s just a good practice to put all the details of the rental in front of the renters as soon as possible. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would happily rent there again!

40th birthday celebration

I rented this house for my 40th birthday. My husband and I stayed for a few days, and had our friends join us for the remainder of the week. Location is ideal! Easy walk to downtown, hiking or grocery, etc. Also very close to the airport but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The property is exactly as described, larger than expected and provided extra amenities such as a workout room, pool table, games. Sauna, laundry and so much more. We spent a ton of time in the gorgeous backyard going from pool to hot tub to fire pit or just relaxing in the many available seating options. It was a great week! I would absolutely return to this property! Thank you Kevin and Doug for the amazing hospitality!

Excellent In Every Way!

We were in Palm Springs for a family wedding and couldn't have picked a better home for our stay. The layout of the house is perfect, the kitchen is well-supplied and easy to use with both a sit-up counter and eat-in kitchen table. There is also a large dining room table for larger family meals. Bedrooms are more than adequate size with lots of closet space. But the beauty of the home is the backyard and pool. There is so much space as well as an outdoor kitchen area with sink, refrigerator and grill. We spent most of our time here! Views of the mountains are breathtaking! I worked with hosts Kevin and Doug and they were fabulous and so welcoming! You can tell that they both take pride in their home and want visitors to feel comfortable. We hope to be able to visit this gorgeous home for a future vacation!

Spacious House with Funky Kitchen and Construction Nextdoor

The house is in a great neighborhood and has a lot of space. The backyard and pool are full sun and comfortable for lounging. The place was not super clean when we arrived and some pots and pans needed to be washed before use. We should have interpreted the “fully remodeled in 2010” literally, as there are some things that feel dated (not mid-mod vintage): windows with broken cranks, kitchen cabinets that are not well designed, carpets that showed wear and tear. It felt used hard, which does not fit the description “luxurious.” The bedroom layout is ideal (lots of separation), but there was no place to store food in the kitchen except the fridge. Probably fine for short stays and those who don't cook, but we had to repurpose a shoe rack from a bedroom to store bread, chips, snacks, cereal, canned goods and pasta, etc. not a major problem, but again, not luxurious. The other issue for us is that we had a lot of construction noise. The property is huge and borders 7-8 other properties. We had the misfortune to be there while a house across the fence was fully deconstructed, concrete saws and jackhammers for weeks. Hopefully that will end when the new house is built, but I would check on that.

Ideal private getaway near everything

My wife, son, and I had a wonderful time visiting Palm Springs, in large part because of this lovely home and the great service from Kevin and Doug. It is large enough for multiple families to stay, but we just wanted it to ourselves. I don't think the pictures really do it justice. The master bedroom has a huge master bath with a double shower and a sauna. There is a second bedroom with another massive rainfall shower. One of the small touches that was nice was the door from the master directly onto the patio where the pool and hot tub are. You can go right from the tub into the shower or roll out of bed and walk into the hot tub, which I did every morning. It is close to everything downtown. Highly recommend Sherman's Deli and giuseppe's pizza and pasta. The backyard is totally secluded so nobody is peering in while you are chilling by the pool. We paid to have the tub and the pool heated, and it was well worth the cost. There was an issue with the heating the first night, but Doug took care of it the next day, and Kevin refunded us the daily cost of heating. We will definitely come back!

Desert Oasis

We just enjoyed an amazing stay of 4 nights and 5 days at this Deepwell Estates home. The hosts were all very communicative during the booking and check-in process, pleasant, and courteous. The host that checked us in was so pleasant and flexible, as we were later than expected, but welcomed us with great energy and a lovely house tour. The home itself was beautiful, spacious, and clean. It was well set-up with the essentials, and we easily found our way around the kitchen for all our cooking needs. The comfort, size of the rooms, and size of the beds is some of the best we’ve come across on VRBO. It fit our large family very well with plenty of space and comfort. The features of the home, including pool, jacuzzi, high speed internet, and smart TVs made for an enjoyable and seamless getaway for those of us enjoying the staycation and those of us that needed to do a little work from home. The art work and decorative details of the home are also quite enjoyable. Each room has interest select pieces that add to the character of the home and that vacation vibe. The finished basement was impressive as it is rare to find in California. There was a gym room on one end and on the other an entertainment space complete with a pool table. The home offered enjoyable space and entertainment for everyone in our group ages 1.5 years to 70 years and everything in between. We are grateful to our delightful hosts.

Lovely Large PS Home

Our family was in Palm Dprings for a wedding. We all stayed together in this lovely, comfortable home that had everything that we needed….Backyard and Pool area was fantastic and beautiful…..all bedrooms and baths were comfortable and living space and kitchen was ample…. highly recommend this property!!!

Fantastic!

We spent a week in this oasis with multiple families and it was perfect! We spent most of the day enjoying the beautiful outdoor space and pool but there was ample room inside for all of us to enjoy time together. Kevin and Doug were quick to respond to questions and the check in process was efficient and helpful. We were sad to leave the beautiful house!

OK house but Beautiful Back Yard

House was overall nice and back yard was awesome but the house was a little dirty when we showed up and hardly any toilet paper and had an issue with the smell in a room when we first arrived. The gentleman greeting us was could have made our experience better.
