The shared top deck spans both homes, offering panoramic ocean views, multiple seating areas, and room to gather as a full group. When booked separately, this deck is gated for privacy—but when rented together, it opens up to create one expansive shared space. Each home also has its own private lower deck and beach access, plus new hot/cold outdoor surf-style showers.

We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs per side. Surf City is a dog-friendly town with pet-welcoming beaches and patios. (Sorry, no cats due to allergies.)

Our passion for meaningful, memory-filled family travel began in 1993 when my family built Twin Landings, an oceanfront duplex in Surf City, NC. Over the years, Twin Landings has become a beloved gathering place—not just for us, but for the many families who’ve vacationed there. The property includes two separate 4-bedroom homes that can be rented individually or together for larger groups, with a connecting oceanfront deck that opens up when booked as one.
That love for Twin Landings inspired the creation of Carolina Landings, our small, family-run vacation rental business focused on boutique, high-quality homes. We now also own and host at:
🌊 Surf Landing, a second-row home in the heart of Surf City’s S-curve, just steps from beach access, restaurants, and shops.
🌅 Serenity Landing, located in Topsail Beach’s peaceful Serenity Point community on the southern end of the island. From this tranquil setting, stroll the magical southern tip of the island between two beaches—just steps to the sound and ocean access points.
We’re also proud to have begun cohosting a select number of top-tier homes across Topsail Island. Our goal is to offer families thoughtfully curated stays and exceptional service while keeping that boutique, local feel.
And when we’re not at the beach, you’ll often find us in the mountains of western North Carolina at Wolf Ridge, our chalet-style cabin in Murphy. With sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and frequent wildlife sightings, it’s the perfect year-round retreat for family connection.
