Family of five

Beautiful resort area. The view and location to the beach and Glen Arbor was unbelievable. Seeing Lake Michigan and Crystal River from the living room and walking right out to both is unbeatable. The property had just enough space for us to relax and enjoy dinners and family game time. Our only disappointment was poor communication with Vacasa and a poorly cleaned condo.

Off to a BAD Start!

Arrived at 4:00 as instructed for check-in. Lockbox wouldn't open. After several attempts by wife and me, I texted the Vacasa 800 number. Got empathic reply. Would check into it. Offered to have someone come to our aid. Yes, please. No one. More texts. "Housekeeping was there earlier in th e day and had no problem." Oh, it's US! After two hours, threatened to leave and demand full refund. At two and one half hours, a rep (nice lady) walked us through the problem. Seems they have been having some issues with this box. She walked us through and by 6:30 p.m. we were in. By that time we were fried. Vacasa gets a 1 rating for very poor customer service!!!

House in Glen Arbor

Beautiful location close to the beach. Perfect for a vacation get away close to sleeping bear national lakeshore and many restaurants and shops.

Not Real Happy

Beautiful location but the unit fell a little short. The TV did not work and the local support team never did fix it. Other concerns surfaces but they were sent to the local managers. Not our best stay.

"Not Clean" (to put it nicely)

Great location; beautiful river and beach with direct easy access from condo. Unfortunately, the place was basically filthy. When we arrived there were crumbs and sticky food all over the dining table. The hard floors were filthy with built up grime and sand all over the floor. Our 10 year old son went barefoot for about 20 minutes and the bottoms of his feet turned black. Dirty rag was left on dining room chair and old dirty sock on floor. The guest bedroom was very musty smelling and had dust build up around edges of floors that must have been years of uncleaned build up. The master shower smelled like a sewer during showers... must have a problem with the drain trap. Overall this place has the potential to be great. It has some nice updates and the location is fantastic, but it needs a serious deep clean and some TLC.

Best vacation ever!

This is probably one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed on any vacation. We walked into a sparkling clean and fresh smelling home. The location is perfect and the views and beach access are just stunning. It was quiet, private, peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We loved being able to just walk out to the beach or sit on the back deck and enjoy the river. It was close to everything. Aside from our 45 minute drive from the airport, I don’t think we spent more than 5–10 minutes in the car going places. The town of Glen Arbor was quaint and adorable with fun little shops and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. It was absolutely lovely!

Very Nice Property!

Beautiful place right by a beach on Lake Michigan. In a very nice area that is easy to walk around. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, main Glen Arbor area, and pyramid point. We loved it!

Birthday Getaway

Came to Glen Arbor for my Birthday from Cleveland, OH and it was well worth it! This beautiful house was well worth it as well. It was clean, roomy, and had all the amenities we needed. Situated right off Crystal River and just a bridge walk over to the Bay - it was beyond perfect! Every night it housed a beautiful sunset for us. Book this before it gets booked!

Last minute getaway

Fall getaway

Unit was amazing. Very clean. Our coffee pot was missing the carafe and someone actually delivered a new coffee pot!! Which was completely above and beyond! View was gorgeous!

Spring 2023 at the Homestead

Wonderful things about this property: 1. The location makes it easy to explore the area 2. The view of the river and lake from the living room/kitchen is fantastic. 3. Easy access and close by parking. 4. We felt safe. 5. The condo was clean as a whistle and pretty well stocked for the essentials. 6. The price point was a great value. Other things about this property: 1. Pots and pans need to be replaced. They are crusty and old. 2. Heater/AC unit in master bedroom is loud. 3. New door stop needed on secondary bedroom bathroom door. I would recommend this property for a rental!

Great Location

We have stayed in other Homestead properties before in the Fall, but this 1st floor was much easier to access and enjoy. Three girlfriends on vacation - loved the 2 full bathrooms, nice deck right on the Crystal River with a view to the beach and lake AND the sunset! This unit could use a bit more updating, especially to the sinks/lighting in both bathrooms and the heating in the bedrooms, which was loud. Two of the three sliding door locks did not work. But the size and setup of this unit was pretty perfect for us.

Excellent Stay

This Unit is decorated for today’s renters in mind. The furniture is in great condition and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with matching silverware, dishes and glasses. There is a coffee maker, toaster and blender and all are in good working order. We walked in a felt like we were home…. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we opened the slider and listened to the waves crashing on the beach…. There is a Flat Screen TV with a very nice cable package… It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the fish swim by in the Crystal River…. It’s just steps away from the balcony and Lake Michigan is just over the dune, and a short walk over the bridge… The sunsets are magnificent right from the balcony if you don’t want to walk to the beach….
