Denna fantastiska lilla stuga som är tillgänglig året runt erbjuder en hel del charm mitt i "downtown" Glen Arbor. Beläget i en historisk bok trädbevuxen miljö och tvärs över gatan från Crystal River blir det inte bättre än detta. Husets däcksida erbjuder lugn matsal och avkoppling med en trädbevuxen utsikt och en fläck av enstaka rådjur och räv när du kopplar av och äter på däck. Om du besöker på hösten eller vintern krullas upp med en bok och ett glas vin framför gasspisen. Så mysig att du inte vill lämna.

Foxwood har nyligen uppdaterats och har 2 sovrum plus ett litet loft för barn och 1 badrum med badkar duschkombo. Prime Summer vecka lördag-lördag. Kortare vistelser är ibland tillåtna under de bästa sommardagarna, men inga avgifter debiteras för bokningar på totalt mindre än 7 nätter som bokas online tills bokningen har bekräftats av Visit Up North nästa arbetsdag. Ankomst- och / eller avgångsdatum måste säkerhetskopiera till befintliga reservationer och / eller börja / slut på en lördag. Memorial och Labor Day helger kräver tre nätter.

Sover upp till 5 med 1 kung, 1 drottning och två enkelsängar på loftet. Ät i köket med diskmaskin och allt du behöver för att förbereda måltiderna. Gå ut till däck från köket. Det finns en tvättmaskin / torktumlare som är instoppad bakom stängda dörrar i köket också. Trägolv genom igenom.

Njut av det vackra orörda vattnet i Crystal River tvärs över gatan med den medföljande kanot. Svänga ut på floden på "träd" gunga. Koppla tillbaka i de färgglada Adirondack-stolarna på floden samt en eldstad, bara några steg från din dörr.
Gå till Riverfront Pizza, Western Avenue Grill eller Boones eller smaka lokala körsbärsviner på Cherry Republic. Town ligger bara 0,2 km från huset. Livsmedelsaffär, presentbutiker och kafé är bara några av de saker som gör ditt besök enkelt. Cykeluthyrning ligger precis nere på gatan. Du behöver inte köra till den "stora" staden! Gå till Lake Michigan och se solen gå ner. Gasgrill och eldstad. Kabel / DVD, WIFI. Gas spis.

Glen Arbor ligger mellan Leland och Empire längs M-22-korridoren. Res norrut och njut av stopp vid Lake Michigan stränder. Det finns en fantastisk plats cirka 1/2 mil norr om Lake Michigan som är en perfekt plats att ta ett dopp. Vandringsleder vid Pyramid Point, middag på lokala matgäster och smörgåsaffärer, gårdsmarknader och mycket mer är några av de många spännande saker du kan besöka. Res söderut till Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Haven, Pierce Stocking Scenic drive samt restauranger och shopping. Traverse City ligger 30 minuter bort.

The cottage was very clean. Bed was comfortable and nice linens. Small "notes" helped with operation of electronics, plumbing, etc. The kitchen was nicely stocked and plenty of fresh towels. The Crystal River really is crystal clear. Right down the road to the Glen Arbor shopping district. Close to dunes and many many great trails. Small town. Very welcoming.

Good location, older house with issues

Glen Arbor is wonderful and a great base for a vacation up North. This property is older, very clean inside. The listing failed to note its very close proximity to a very busy road (22), something living under the house (rodent traps freshly placed all around the house), large pine tree fallen on the electrical wires at the driveway left untended the entire week of our stay, spotty internet, etc. the carefully worded description not mention the cottage is actually across the road from the river -- be careful if you have young children. The management company took the "you rented it, you live with it" approach --- very unhelpful and not what we expected for the premium price (and property description).

Perfect location for hiking the dunes.

Pro tip, the firepit is across the street lol, but its in a good spot.The house is right near downtown glenn arbor, four or so minutes from several main trail heads down the 109. The town has an upscale market, a pizza place and a few bar&grill locations. Everything youd need. House is walking distance from the downtown area. When we return, we will try to get this property again.

We Love Foxwood!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Foxwood and stay there every time we visit Glen Arbor (twice a year for the last /-10 years)! This year things seemed a little less kept up. Parts of the cottage were dirty, the shower and shower curtain had mold and mildew in/on them, the coffee maker had coffee still in it, dishes were put away dirty, and there was a fist-sized hole in the wall in the living room (which we reported immediately). Visit Up North is a great company and very responsive and kind. We cannot say enough good things about our interactions with them! We suspect that maybe no one had rented the cottage for a few weeks? It is a great location--walk-able to shopping and restaurants and hiking all around the area. It also has tons of great amenities (towels, bedding, dishes/pans, firepit, canoe, etc) that many rentals do not provide. In the off season when the area is so quiet and peaceful, it is a great little escape. It is really the perfect cottage!

Good location for Glen Arbor Fun

We went up for a 4 day winter experience. We love hiking the Sleeping Bear dunes and snowshoeing and this location is very convenient. It is a cute cabin. The main bed was a little uncomfortable and could use better support I think. Fireplace was a great experience.

Our stay was fine and location is great. Cabin overall could use updating and repairs. It wasn't the cleanest, linens overall seem like they were not washed recently.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few things stand out in comparison to some other rental properties we have visited. Loved the gas stove! Linens and towels were very clean and fresh smelling.We would have liked to open the windows to air out the house a bit but the window wells were so full of dead bugs and dirt that I didn't feel it was my job as a guest to do this for the property management. Lots of packed dog hair behind furniture that was gross and kitchen table and chairs also had wads of dog fur under them.Location was great for walks into town and close to all the trails we love. We probably won't revisit because the property quality did not match the cost of the rental.

Good location, no canoe though

Location was within walking distance to downtown and could drive to a lot of places within 40min. We were disappointed that the canoe was locked to a tree and when we messaged the people, they too did not know where the key was and didnt offer to help fins it.

Most perfect cabin

Absolutely loved our stay! Perfect walking distance from downtown glen arbor but just far enough outside to be secluded. Crystal River was gorgeous and so clean. Cabin was clean and lots of space. Cant wait to stay again!

Cute Little Cottage in Great Location

We stayed in this cottage with our pug and had a great time. We had all of the necessities and the location was so close to everything in Glen Arbor. The only negatives were that the cottage could have been a little cleaner and it is on a busy road, with the river across the street (which we knew from the listing). There was still part of bar of soap on the windowsill in the shower and there was mildew on the window as well. The cottage is also a little tired looking and could use some updating. The king bed was very comfortable and we loved the circular driveway. Overall, it was a nice stay and we were really thankful we could bring our dog with us.

Clean cottage, convenient location, allows dogs

We really appreciated that we could bring our dog. Linens and towels were clean and there were plenty of extra bath towels in the cabinets. The location is great and we really enjoyed being able to walk into Glen Arbor and use the little Crystal River access across the street. We saw some deer and some cool birds while we were there. We had a couple housekeeping issues upon arrival: there was a load of clean dishes in the dishwasher that we needed to put away and we also found a load of towels and sheets in the washer halfway through the week when we went to do some laundry. Expect to bring your own kitchen towels if you want to cook (we were provided with 1 and asked for 6 more for a week's stay--they gave us 1 more). You will also need hand soap for the kitchen (empty one in the kitchen upon arrival),probably dishwasher liquid (powders just dripped down the door and didn't dissolve), laundry detergent. Oh, and I would bring your own sponge or whatever you prefer for washing pans, etc because they left us a used one. All and all, it's a nice place and we would stay again, but you can definitely tell it's run by a management company and not an owner who is directly involved.

Annual Glen Arbor Vacation

Perfect space for our family of 4

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really happy with the unit. For a family of 4 (plus dog) this was the perfect size for a 4 day stay. Would fit 2 couples as well. Everything was clean and some furniture on the newer side. My only suggestions are for the bathroom - flip the door lock to be in the bathroom, provide a sensor night light in there, and a softer overhead light since it's very harsh (especially in the middle of the night). Location is great for walking into town - which we did multiple times a day. The wifi was acceptable to take a couple of work meetings. The pipes have an odor that goes away once the water has been used... maybe refill the emulsifier between tenants. Overall a great experience, I was hoping to see a porcupine and deer in the yard. We'll be back!

Foxwood Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th visit to Foxwood. Very cute charming place and the location is perfect. It's just the right size for 4 adults. Kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The fireplace was very handy the first few days we were there as it was cold and rainy. We discovered the furnace motor was "frozen" when we tried to use it during the cold days. Visit Up North were very helpful in contacting someone to fix the furnace. Kudos to Lindsay and Rachelle for working with us. I hope I spelled your names correctly. Chris was the gentleman who came promptly to fix the furnace once he secured the parts to repair it. We were grateful for his help especially since it warmed up the last half of our stay. The air conditioner made it our stay very comfortable. So thank you Chris for your help.
