Bra hem för bröllopsgäster! Kort promenad till stranden. Nyrenoverad med ett fantastiskt nytt kök! Ursprungligen har en stuga med två sovrum, "Kneas Family Cottage", utvecklats till en perfekt plats för strandsemester för familjer med fem sovrum och 3 fulla bad, en halv bad + en utomhusdusch. Med ett vackert däck med utsikt över en stor gräs, är det gångavstånd (1800 fot) till både stranden, ljudet och shoppingen vilket gör det till ett idealiskt prisvärt hyreshus.

Vardagsrummet på första våningen och nyrenoverade kök är ett stort öppet "L" -format område med gott om sittplatser för matsal, TV, läsplats och spel. Två sovrum och ett och ett halvt badrum ligger på första våningen. Ett av dessa sovrum är idealiskt för barn eftersom det finns 3 bäddar i full storlek och två singlar. Det finns också en utomhusdusch som du kan använda när du återvänder från stranden. På andra våningen öppnar det mysiga vardagsrummet med TV till soldäck. Två av sovrummen ligger utanför det andra vardagsrummet med ett badrum. Det tredje sovrummet och badrummet (master) är åtskilda från vardagsrummet för mer integritet. Perfekt för två familjer att dela hemmet och ha privata områden för avkoppling.

Special cottage

Loved our stay at Kneas Cottage. Close to many Outer Banks attractions. Cottage had plenty of room, was clean, uniquely decorated and just an enjoyable place to spend our family vacation. Judi and Jim are super to work with and hope to stay here again.

Great house for a large family

Our family of 15 loved staying here for our week-long summer vacation. The property is in an ideal location for easy access to everything OBX has to offer. An easy walk to the beach, grocery stores nearby, pretty much anything we needed was very close. Looking forward to coming back again!

Fantastic get-away and a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this exquisite rental property. We had plenty of room and everything was so comfortable and inviting. Just the perfect place for our family to gather together, and the property owner was so easy to work with. A lot of care and attention-to-detail clearly goes into this property, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Outer Banks Get-away

This property was fantastic! Plenty of space, close to great restaurants, entertainment and the beach. Everything we were looking for and at a great price! I loved checking out the owners pictures of the house being built and their fishing charters. We will certainly be back!

Thanksgiving Holiday Retreat

This year my family decided that we wanted to enjoy Thanksgiving at the beach. We had a great time. The house was well stocked and close to lots of amenities. There were lots of conversation spaces. This property was built with family in mind.

We loved this home!

We had an incredible weekend! This home was perfect for us, our kids, & our parents. We came down Thursday with our family, got married on Friday in Manteo, & enjoyed the rest of our time there finding beach goodies. We would love to return & stay at this beautiful spacious home again soon. Thank you so much for sharing this place with our family!

Wonderful time

We have a wonderful time at this home! Would 10/10 recommend! It was far enough away from the beach for some peace and quiet but close enough to walk to! The inside was big enough to allow my family, sisters family & our father to all be under one roof for vacation. Absolutely amazing!

Family Getaway

This property is spacious and ideal for a large family and/or friends. It was perfect for my 91 year old mother because of the 1st floor bedroom/full bath (no steps). Also, she could go to bed early and the rest of the family could stay up and visit in the upstairs living space and outside deck. We loved the property and location and would definitely rent this property again!

Great time at this property in Kill Devil Hills. The host was available and helpful whenever needed. Vrbo didn’t contact us till the day before we were to access the property. We became a bit nervous about entrance to the property but the host allayed our fears and all was well. Spacious, clean and very comfortable! Thank you Kneas family!

For over 40 years the Kneas family has vacationed at the Outer Banks in Kill Devils Hills, NC. Elizabeth and Harvey Kneas purchased this vacation home in the 1960s just after the historic Ash Wednesday storm. The Kneas' brought the house as a vacation home while residing in Portsmouth, Virginia, about 1 1/2 hours north of the OBX. Originally, a two-bedroom flat roof cottage, the family has designed and remodeled the home into a perfect family gathering location. The Kneas family has spent many years at the 'cottage' hosting reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, and just summer fun beach time together. Sons Butch and Jim grew up spending lazy summer days at the beach and later working as lifeguards, bartenders, and other odd jobs through high school and their college years. Now the Kneas' grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoy the cottage; this third generation is learning to body surf, build sandcastles, play putt-putt, and enjoy all the OBX has to offer.
