Nestled in the mountains above Santa Teresa, Costa Rica the Mikaya Villa awaits you. A harmonious residency balancing nature, design, and comfort. Private pool, spacious bedrooms, and chef's kitchen with impeccable design in every corner.
The Mikaya Villa is designed to feel spacious and warm. Do you know the feeling you get when you walk into a house and just want to enjoy it and hang out in it all day long? Well, here it is Mikaya is such a place. The warm feeling of calmness and serenity are abundant and the sounds of nature are always there. The mountain breeze rolling up from the beaches keeps this house cool all day long.
Sunsets are spectacular and can be enjoyed while sitting around the pool or fire pit. The large 8-person dining table can comfortably host you and your guests while the chef's kitchen can be used for any size event.
The two masters have King sized beds with high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets and Italian bead spreads on all our beds. The twin-size room has two single beds that have been custom-built to connect and turn into another king-size bed upon request.
The villa was built to ensure privacy for all its guests and the rooms are well spaced out from each other to allow maximum tranquility and privacy. Each room has its own outdoor balcony and a special treat for whoever gets the upstairs master suite, with an outdoor tub overlooking the ocean and sunset.
Upon request, we can help provide a menu of extra services such as masseuses, chefs, child care, transportation, reservations, and surf lessons to name a few.

We started Mikaya as a result of needing to change our lives. After living in New York City for over 7 years working in real estate, a change of pace was needed. After returning from a long-needed surf trip we decided that Santa Teresa would be an ideal place to come and live and start a new business venture. There were a few main goals; design a classy beautiful residence that would be a place that anyone would see and would immediately want to stay in. We wanted it to be harmonious to the eye in every corner, with a monochromatic theme throughout the villa. With lots of effort, time, and money we are proud of what we have accomplished at this villa and can't wait to share it with our guests. If we are doing our job right we plan on seeing you over and over again.

Breathtaking views with a combination of wild jungle, ocean, and sky views should be enough. However, the attention is on the details and we spared no effort to reach a balance between harmony and practicality and we think we have achieved it here. The house is built for a client to fully immerse themselves into the area whilst stopping to smell the roses. Life is good, we intend to make it better for you.

We choose this specific property because of its proximity to town whilst being far enough away to not be disturbed by the sights and sounds of town life. The world is getting busier and busier and we just want you to turn off the noise and for however long you are in the villa be at peace. We also know that dining, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and activities are all things we love to indulge in so we didn't want you to be cut off from that by being too far away. After that, it's all the views.......
