I slutet av en privat körfält ligger en perfekt tre-säsongsstuga precis vid Sakonnet Harbour i Little Compton, RI. Sitt på verandan eller i adirondack-stolarna på din PRIVATE gräsmatta och titta närbild på fiskebåtar och fritidsbåtar. Med utsikt västerut mot herrgårdarna i Newport över mynningen av floden Sakonnet kan du njuta av magnifika solnedgångar från verandan vid vattnet eller det slutna solrummet. Bara steg från vattnet!

En stor sidogård ger gott om plats för spel som volleyboll eller kvällskokning med vänner och familj. Klipporna framför är ett bra ställe att dyka ner i vattnet och en enkel plats att lägga i kajaker. När du är klar med att simma kan du skölja bort i den nya utomhusduschen!

Inuti denna två våningar bälgen med stenar finns fyra sovrum och två fulla bad. Det finns ett vardagsrum med god storlek med en inbyggd sten spis plus matsal och ett extra hölje / lekrum med TV. Huset är övervintrat med värme i alla rum. Oöverträffad utsikt från nästan alla rum i huset.

En kort promenad eller en cykeltur på mindre än en mil tar dig till två olika stränder, Lloyds nära landmärket Sakonnet fyr och Tappans i slutet av natursköna Round Pond. Dessutom en kort promenad till Stone House Inn and Spa, Sakonnet Yacht Club och Sakonnet Golf Club.

Huset ligger i slutet av en lugn privat körfält, ungefär 3 miles från den pittoreska staden Little Compton, där du kan få matvaror i Wilbur's General Store, en måltid på Commons Lunch eller, en kopp kaffe på Art Cafe.

Lovely home

This house had plenty of space and so many different ways to look out and enjoy the beautiful setting. Our kids loved all of the room to run around outside and we really appreciated the sun room in the mornings. The owner was very communicative. We would definitely go back.

Quaint and charming town.

A beautiful property in a very remote location reminiscent of our childhood, with a general store downtown surrounded by farmland, and quaint houses. If you are looking for a quiet respite, a place to read a book and just reflect on life, then this is for you. Very clean and charming decor. The location and views are priceless.

Perfect shoreline setting in Little Compton

We were delighted to return to this property once again. It's always a treat to visit and renew our acquaintance with this special community. We managed to find a new farm stand after the shocking closure of the iconic Walkers. Other than that, we were relieved to find that very little has changed.

Close Escape

It was a perfect getaway from the city! So close to Providence. So to go back&forth to Capucine, my shop in Providence. And the most incredible thing happened. The Friday before I checked in my host's sister-in-law walked into my shop & gave me great suggestions in area.

Uniquely beautiful property!

What a wonderful place! The house is charming, with lots of vintage features that are all too often "updated" or lost to disrepair. It's been carefully maintained and is clean, spacious and altogether delightful! The views are second to none, and the outdoor gathering spaces for lawn games, al fresco dining, or just relaxing and chatting while watching the boat traffic in the Sakonnet harbor are numerous and beautiful. We came for a long weekend of family time with young adult and teenaged kids and loved every minute.

Couldn't have gone better

The house is terrific. Full of charm and you'll never want to leave the picture window that looks out to the harbor. The outside space is also lovely. The town is charming. The kitchen is charming. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The owner is very responsive. There are fun walks to take from the the house. I don't think I'd change anything about the house or our stay. We stayed in October and had a great mix of warmish days and cool nights. Would happily book this house again.

Favorite place!

Unlimited charm

My family and I cannot say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we turned into the drive, till we stepped in the house, till we saw the view, our mouths were wide open. The house was so comfy and well decorated. The views are second to none, the sunsets are amazing. Little Compton was so peaceful and nice. The owners are so very nice and communicated so well. We will absolutely be back.

Restful and Relaxing

From the moment we walked into the house, I knew we found the spot for a restful and relaxing stay. Perfectly situated on the water with views of the harbor provided a most serene setting. The amazing sunrises and sunsets punctuated the days-heavenly. The home’s layout afforded more than ample space for reading and relaxing while other family members were otherwise engaged. The side sun room was a favorite refuge as well the other open porches. Lastly, the location was a perfect jumping off point to surrounding areas of interest, including beaches and walking trails. So grateful we could rent your lovely oasis and take in the overall beauty of Little Compton during our week’s stay.
