Denna blygsamma stuga, en perfekt stuga med tre säsonger, sitter på en liten körfält precis vid Sakonnet Harbour i Little Compton, RI. Sitt på solstolarna och titta närbild på fiskebåtar och fritidsbåtar. Med utsikt västerut mot Newport-herrgårdarna och stränderna på Newport över mynningen av floden Sakonnet kan du njuta av magnifika solnedgångar från baksidan och sidodäcken - bara några steg från vattnet!

En sidogård ger gott om utrymme för spel som krokett och / eller en kvällskokning med vänner och familj. Klipporna utanför hamnen är ett utmärkt ställe att dyka ut i vattnet och en enkel plats att sätta i kajaker. När du är klar med simning kan du skölja bort i utomhusduschen!

Inuti denna en berättigade shingled bungalow finns tre sovrum och ett badrum. Det finns ett vardagsrum med bra storlek plus matsal och ett extra spelrum med TV. Huset är inte övervintrat men det har värme i huvudrummet.

Denna bekväma stuga ligger på en privat plats i Little Compton, RI och nås via privat väg. Alla sovrum och vardagsrum är inredda med en rolig sjarmarm, kök är välutrustade med allt som behövs för att laga gourmetmåltider. Allt du behöver för en lugn, lugn vår / sommar / hösten getaway.

Gångavstånd är fyra stränder, restauranger i Stone House, Sakonnet Harbour (privat) och Sakonnet Golf Club (privat). I närheten finns också Town Commons, butikerna på Tiverton Four Corners, Grey's Ice Cream, Sakonnet Vineyards, gårdsställningar, antikvitetsaffärer, livsmedelsbutiker och restauranger från Art café, avslappnad landsbygd och god mat. (Kan behöva åka till Newport för att äta god mat. - 45 min bilresa)

I grew up in a city not far from Sakonnet, so this stay was very nostalgic for me. The location is excellent, right near the harbor. There is a beautiful beach less than 1 mile away and the walk there is very pleasant, with nice views, the aroma of honeysuckle and lots of migratory birds and butterflies. There are farm stands, great ice cream (Greys), wineries, and good restaurants nearby. It's a great place for cycling.The cabin is an old fashioned beach house, more spacious than I thought from the photos. It is a little musty but very clean. The bed is comfy. The kitchen has every implement imaginable. I would definitely stay again.

Big cabin in great area

Very clean house. Bigger than I expected! Very nice backyard with nice chairs to look out over the water. Lots of chairs and seating areas and nicely stocked kitchen. Owner sent all the details we needed to plan a great weekend in this lovely area.

Great location, deck, lots of room

Good appliances as well. “Rustic” must refer to wood paneling everywhere. There has been lack of attention to doors and windows that need repair. Kitchen cabinets really should be replaced. Comfortable king size bed. Plenty of room for four adults and two kids easily. We liked our stay, but for the cost the house could be improved.

Lovely cottage

Loved the cottage, the proximity to the water/beach, and the little town of Little Compton. Kitchen was nicely stocked so we were able to cook. We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Late summer getaway!

We enjoyed our last minute stay in Little Compton! It was our first visit to this area of RI and it we will definitely return. It is much quieter than other beach areas we have visited in the past. Our cottage was in a great location with views of the water and nice sunsets. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed!

Terrific place, would definitely choose again

We loved our stay in Little Compton. The house is well appointed and comfortable, with more than one spot for people to sit and read/hang out so it doesn't feel cramped. It's light and airy and the deck along two sides is terrific. We needed to contact Tom during our stay and he was very responsive and friendly. We were very comfortable and would definitely go back!

Amazing Beaches!

Tom's Little Compton house was the perfect getaway for our family. We took daily walks to beautiful beaches, and let the night ease in while sitting on the deck. We watched nearby fireworks from the lawn on July 4th, our friendly neighbors even invited us up to their porch for a better view. Sweet neighborhood, awesome beaches, and relaxing evenings!

Wonderful view

Despite record end of summer heat the evening sea breezes made for comfortable sleep. Have stayed in Little Compton several summers to know this location is special - cooling harbor swimming, quiet early morning biking, & lovely sunsets.

perfect location

This house was the perfect spot for our crew of 6 adults visiting for a local wedding at the stone house down the street (2 double beds + 2 twins). The house itself wasn't fancy and smelt a little musty, but it was clean and all we needed for a couple days. There's also a great deck with an ocean view.

This cottage was everything we hoped it would be.....

We had a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing experience staying here so close to the water. It was so quiet, and the kids loved getting away from the electronics and TV (even though they were available). We played board games that were at the cottage and the girls even dressed in raincoats and played outside in the rain. They made good use of the outside shower, it was their first time experiencing that. All in all, it was amazing and we will definately try to do it again. It was just nice being able to relax and visit with family from the area and friends. Thanks Tom Lyons for sharing your space with us.

Great spot - comfortable cottage

Comfortable cottage in prime location with spectacular view. Short walk to harbor and beaches - great spot to enjoy the outdoors or relax watching the sunset. Responsive owner with great knowledge of the area.

My family has been on Sakonnet Point since before I was born. Little Compton is an incredibly wonderful place to grow up.

Being on Sakonnet Point with access to several beaches, the harbor, the fishing boats, the breakwater has so much to offer all day long. Bike and/or walk to 3-4 different beaches.

There are a few antique and charming Schwin bikes in the shed available for your use along with some beach chairs and the like. I try to keep the tires filled with air, but there is a pump in the shed if the tires get low.
