Denna stuga ligger pÄ 3/4 tunnland och Àr bekvÀmt belÀget i en lugn, trÀdbevuxen miljö men ÀndÄ bara 10 miles till Acadia National Park och 12 miles till Bar Harbor. Stugan har 2 sovrum, vardagsrum, badrum, kök med moderna apparater och liten frukostsol veranda. FrÄn solveranda eller dÀck kan du njuta av soluppgÄngen över bergen eller skönheten i mÄnskenet pÄ vattnet.

This was the perfect cottage for a peaceful getaway near Acadia National Park. The cottage is located on a small hill, directly next to the ocean, with steps to get down to the shoreline. The East facing windows made for amazing sunrises every morning, and it was so quiet. I hope to stay again the next time I visit.

This cabin was perfect! Very clean and very well stocked. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia without being to close. Having a section of private beach was fantastic! Hosts were very helpful and easy to work with.

Very nice cabin/cottage. Everything was wonderful. It overlooks water and the sunrises were amazing.

Walkway to the water - shore is rocky, not a sandy beach. Tides in and out were cool.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Very nice cabin with everything you need in a quiet and beautiful location. Very close to great places to eat and the park. Perfect small cottage with easy stairs down to Goose Cove/MtDesert Narrows. Early morning sunrises over Cadillac mountain, viewed from the deck. Birdwatching heaven. New cabin with a well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, game, books, maps and guides and Maine artwork. Short and easy drive to Acadia and Mt Desert Island. Responsive hosts who obviously love this gem. A perfect 10. I hope to return someday.

A wonderful week

Lovely and relaxing cottage with spectacular views. The Banach’s concern during the heat wave was appreciated, but the cottage stayed cool and breezy. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. All amenities were as described. A relaxing and quiet week.

So idyllic!

This one- level cabin meet all of our needs as we explored Arcadia National Park. The space was well stocked and the owners are responsive - couldn't ask for more! It was rainy most of our stay and the cabin was cozy but the view of the water was breath-taking!

Great stay near Acadia

We were very happy with our stay at the Oceanfront cottage. It is a newer house with fabulous views of the mountains and on the water with steps down to a rocky sandy beach. It had everything we needed to prepare meals and was so comfortable and quiet. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was an easy 15-20 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. I would stay here again if we are in the area.

Relaxing week

The oceanfront cottage was a perfect place to spend a relaxing week. Easy access to Acadia, quiet location, beautiful views of the sunrise over MDI, and a great kitchen for cooking. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful setting

We had a wonderful time on the Bay! After time hiking and exploring Acadia and nearby sights it was great to settling into this quiet spot and watch the tides and see the wildlife. The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed to cook good meals. When an unexpected noreaster came through late in the season the owner helped us to prep incase of a power outage. We gratefully did not have that occur, but it was comforting to be prepared. Great clean and well appointed space and we want to come back sometime.

Perfect Maine Vacation

Adorable cottage in Trenton, Maine

We loved the property. It was an adorable cottage full of cute decorations that was private, yet close to Acadia National Park and various stores and restaurants. It was very clean and stocked with many necessities. We would absolutely stay again!

Bob and Pat are recently retired. Pat was a librarian and Bob worked in the insurance industry. We enjoy sharing our special place in Maine with guests. We have owned, managed, and rented this property since 1987. In 2023/24 we razed our beloved cabin and built a new small house which captures the charm of a Maine cabin. We use this cottage ourselves as do our adult children. This is not a bare bones rental, but one we share with those who are seeking a quiet Maine experience. Because we use the cabin ourselves, we hope it has all the amenities you need.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love the peace and quiet on our 200 feet of private beach. We love the view across the bay to the mountains of Acadia National Park. We love watching the sunrise from the bedroom and the living/dining room, and the moon on the water at night. And we love watching to see a glimpse of seals in the bay.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor but away from the crowds in a quiet peaceful spot. Also convenient to Ellsworth for dining, grocery shopping and supplies.
