Vår Rockaway Beach-semesterhus har en partiell havsutsikt och ligger bara några steg över gatan till sanden! Koppla av i vårt fritidshus som har varit ägt av vår familj i över 40 år. Huset på ranch stil har ett nytt kök och nyligen uppdaterat badkar. Huset är bekvämt och välskött. Vi har ett stort vardagsrum med 2 soffor och en stor-TV med satellitmottagning. Ätområdet finns i vardagsrummet. Huset kommer bekvämt att rymma 6 personer. Vi har 2 sovrum: vardera med en dubbelsäng och en tvilling. Vi har också två enkla rullande sängar i förvaringsskåp i vardagsrummet. Köket har nyligen renoverats med en diskmaskin, skräp bortskaffande och verkliga vent / fläkt över kaminen! Huset har också ett tvättstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Däck sveper runt framsidan av huset, sidan och halva ryggen. Det finns en Weber vattenkokare BBQ. Begränsningar är rökning, inga husdjur. Rockaway är en snabb bilresa från Portland och en lugn stad med glass- och godisbutiker, restauranger, antikaffärer och en sjö i närheten för att ta din familj öringfiske.

Great little place

This is a great location and excellent value. The bed I slept in was very comfortable which is the biggest thing for me. There is only one bathroom as listed which was okay for 4 people but if there would have been 6 would have been more challenging. Adding a 1/2 bath somewhere to this place would make it phenomenal!

Great place for small family

This is the 6th or 7th time I've rented the McGuire house. Keep returning because this house is very affordable, always clean, walking distance to the beach and town, well-stocked, and Rockaway is a great location for daytrips north or south. Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Tillamook, Lincoln City all an hour or less drive.

Peaceful, quiet, comfortable home

This house was perfect for us. We had an obstructed view of the ocean with super close and easy access to the beach where we were able to finish each day by watching the sun set over the Pacific. We were also able to open our windows at night and go to sleep listening to the ocean waves as they lapped up on the beach. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It has a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Parking was easy but there are about 20 steps to get up to the house so pack accordingly. There is a home in front of this home that you share the driveway with. If it wasn't for their truck coming and going you would never know anyone was living there. Wifi access was great, communication with the owner was good, access to the home was easy and check in/out instructions were clear and simple. Overall, we enjoyed the house, ammenities, location and ease of staying here. Rockaway Beach is a lovely little town with beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great place to watch the waves rolling in while sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the beauty of the area.

Fantastic Location and Very Comfortable

Love staying here with my family. Very close to the beach with a partial ocean view and a five minute walk to the stores and restaurants in Rockaway Beach. Theresa is a great host. We look forward to saying here again soon!

Great house for our visit to the ocean. We had partial ocean views and easy access to the beach. House was clean and well suited for our needs. Would stay here again for sure.

Worked out just fine

The house is across the street from the first row of houses that are facing the ocean and up outdoor curving stairs. Parking in driveway shared with garage apartment was no problem. The view is slight front the front deck and living room windows- the water can be seen looking through the spaces of three houses. Bathroom sink drained slowly but not much of bother. The refrigerator did not cool and was reported to owners for repair. Kitchen seemed well-stocked. Beds were nice enough and comfortable. The place was somewhat dated but overall clean and comfortable. Location is centrally located for driving to Tillamook or opposite to Cannon Beach and Astoria. Quiet street in March. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Cozy Spot!

The kitchen was well stocked and provided a nice spot to make many meals. The cabin has been updated and provided a nice getaway for my family. Loved the couches and large dining table. The closet full of kid toys was great entertainment for my kids!

Great Location

This is a comfortable little home, steps from the ocean. We visited/hiked all points from Seaside to Tillamook, with this home being easy travel to and from. Inventory in the kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. The Northern Oregon Coast is Beautiful. Staying in a comfortable home makes it nice to come back after long days out and about. Teresa responds promptly to texts.

The house is clean. Within walking distance to restaurants in Rockaway Beach. Easy beach access. Kitchen has everything you need. Recliners are comfortable. Would go there again.

2nd Stay at Rockaway Beach Gem

We once again loved our stay at the McGuire Beach house! We walked for miles daily on the lovely Rockaway Beach which is only steps away from the house. We also once again really enjoyed the Old Growth Cedar Preserve Trail which is located right on the south side of town. Since we were staying for over a week, we also explored other areas of the northern Oregon coast and found this location to be ideally centrally located. We traveled north to Manzanita, Oswald West State Park, Cannon Beach (with Haystack Rock), and Astoria (with the Columbia River Maritime Museum and the Astoria Column). To the south we visited Cape Lookout, Cape Meares, and Oceanside. If you enjoy hiking we went on several amazing hikes which you can learn more about on the AllTrails app: South Neahkanie Mountain Trail, Short Sand Beach Trail, Cape Falcon Trail, Cape Lookout Trail, Cape Meares Viewpoint and Octopus Tree Trail, Cape Meares Lighthouse Loop and Barview Jetty Beach Walk Teresa is a great host and made sure we felt at home in the well-stocked McGuire Beach house!

Everything you need.

A perfect little place conveniently tucked into the hillside just across from the beach. You can hear the sounds of the ocean day and night, and in a matter of moments be right on the beach. The home is clean and comfortable, all the little extras, wifi for the teens, lincoln logs and sand toys for the younger ones. A great place to stay when you want to escape to the beach.

Home Away Rockaway

Great location and good value

Rockaway Beach is a wonderful beach town. Everything is walkable from the house. It was a great home-base for day trips to Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Pacific City as well.

Rockaway Beach home

Center of Rockaway Beach proper. Nice clean place and good communication from management. Kitchen, laundry and bathroom clean, functional and stocked with most of what you need (no food, obviously). Easy, no drama place to stay.

Graduation with the family. Hangout location

The property was great with the exception of the parking. If you rent a car, you never quite know what you might get and I was given a big truck. That truck does not fit well in either spot. Otherwise, the trip was a great success with having a convenient location for all the family to convene in for celebrating The graduation. We had games we had fun we had late nights. We had a barbecue at nights on the beach. However, as a mommy on vacation, my favorite part was just a quiet morning with the windows open and the crashing waves and singing birds, beautiful beach, bungalow. Thank you .

Nice Last-Minute Getaway!

Very nice place in a nice location. Centrally located so that we could just walk to most everything in town and just a very short walk to the beach. It was conveniently located to everything we would need yet somehow still felt like a private getaway - I think because of the way it's situated on the street, up a little above the road. House was cozy and nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy stay close to the beach

We really enjoyed our stay in rockaway beach. The house was very close to the beach. It was cozy and comfortable. It is exactly as described. My only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the wood decking that surrounds the exterior of the house. It is very slippery when wet.
