I hate leaving negative reviews

When I arrives the location smelled very strongly of mildew, 90% of the time things like that don't bother me but it was very strong to the point that I thought it could be a potential health risk. The water was barely running the day I arrived which was also a little annoying but the next day it was fixed and then I got an email a day later that came from the city saying that there was a water main problem and that the water should be boiled before drinking. This was upsetting because the email came after the fact and some things specifically when health and wellness are a factor should be made a priority. The rental company asked me when I arrived about the cleanliness of the property and their response was "sorry to hear that" with no follow up. The screen door to the back was not in good condition and kept falling off the tracks so I couldn't really use it without allowing bugs in the house. Overall I picked this location because of the low price and in the future I'll have to spend more time reading reviews.

Nice but not as on brochure

The beach is sand bagged up to protect property. Not shown on listing. The living room has a portable type AC that can’t keep up with heat. A window unit would work better. Bedroom stays cool. So if you need extra cool, not place for you. There are no trash shoots as stated either. Other than that everything else as is. 3.5 out 5

A first time customer becoming a repeat customer

I was very hesitant due to past experiences with previous rental companies. Vacasa changed everything. I am pleased to say that the rental was clean and exactly as described. I received constant communication about my upcoming reservation. I received a courtesy call to make sure the condo was up to standards and it was. It was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this condo and this rental company to any and all friends.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I loved our stay in this cute little condo on the beach. The view is amazing and the area is very laid back and family oriented. The condo was nice and clean. Our only complaints are we were not given the correct code for our condo, the ice maker did not work and the screen door did not slide and needs to be repaired. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Topsail

This unit was small but for just two was just right. Overlooking the beach was great. However screen door on sliding door was hard to open/close and we wanted to experience the sounds of the surf as well as the sight when ever we were in the condo. Kitchen adequate for breakfast and lunch, but would have been more challenging for a full dinner meal. Dining seating at bar really uncomfortable. But….the beach makes it all worthwhile.

Was not the best experience but not the worst!

Musty smell when you walk-in The walls dirty ball of hair in the bathroom shower and AC unit can NOT keep up the condo at times was 84 degree and the pots and pans need to be updated and the cabinets need to be cleaned. The Unit needs a deep clean. The condo itself is in a great location.

Beautiful view bad a/c

Arrived July 1st booked til July 6th. Upon arrival the balcony windows were filthy. Box fan and 2 110 portable a/c units would keep an average room temp of 81 degrees. We would close off the bedroom in the evening to sleep with comfort. Staff visited on Sunday brought us windex and couldn’t do anything to fix the air and stated that it was better than in Puerto Rico (we didn’t go to Puerto Rico) and fixed the bathroom mirror that fell. The curtains on balcony sliding door kept falling down. There is no dishwasher. This unit would need 220 outlet units to cool this space. We spoke and texted with multiple staff members to no avail. The bedroom window blinds was not accessible due to the ac unit vent hose feeding out the window and the window was extremely nasty and same for kitchen window. The balcony view of the beach/ocean from the 3rd floor was amazing the tiki bar and store across the street was awesome and handy. If you don’t mind sweating and taking a lot of cold showers this place is for you. As for me I enjoy comfort and a/c in sweltering heat. Otherwise my husband and I made the most of our time on North Topsail Island beach.

We really enjoyed the location being on the beach with great views. The condo itself was what we needed comfortable clean and affordable. The property management team was great and very responsive to request we had. I would absolutely stay again

Not a good experience

Pro: Great view Quiet setting Plenty of parking Con: Very dirty- unswept floor, air conditioner caked with dirt, ceiling fans had thick layer of dirt. Dead cockroach in the middle of the kitchen. Bugs kept appearing in the bathroom sink. Musty/moldy smell- entire condo has a strong odor of mold, especially the kitchen and bedroom. Dirty bedding- bedspread and blankets had stains and crusty stuff on them Bad communication- no mention that this condo key needed to be picked up. I called and it took 15 minutes to arrange the late check in packet. They were supposed to send a yext to confirm the pickup address and access code and never did. -did not mention that the pickup office was not vacasa, but another agency - no mention that linens were not included I left on day 3 of a 5 night reservation because my allergies were so triggered.
