Clean, Dog Friendly, Great Location

After reading some of the reviews, I did try to be a bit more proactive with messaging the host ahead of time for information about a pet deposit and stuff, and they were always responsive. If I hadn't messaged them first, though, I do think I would have been more frustrated with the entire process. Home itself is cozy, clean, and was perfect for our needs. I wouldn't recommend more than 3 adults for a stay - at even 4 people for 2 nights we were pressed for space in the bathroom especially. LOVE the fenced in backyard, it was our main draw because we were traveling with our dogs. Patio space is beautiful. The cleaners do an amazing job with the entire house.Overall, we had everything we needed and felt safe in this neighborhood, and we loved being so close to everything we wanted to visit.

Adorable home, close to stores and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood, huge backyard with a fire pit and nice location. Loved our one night stay and were very comfortable in this house! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for a short trip, a girls weekend or as a stop along the way to a further away destination. Great place and great fenced in yard. Comfy beds.

The house was in a great location and was the perfect rental for two couples. Only negative was the air conditioner struggled to keep up during the hot days so an extra box fan or two hanging around to use would be a great addition.

Nice neighborhood

Nice house and fenced yard was great for my dog to run and play. A negative was trying to get a hold of rental property/company to get access code for entry into the house. We had to contact VRBO representative and a lot of unnecessary calls just to get a response. Traveling 6 hours to get to the house and didn’t want to get there w/o being able to get in. Finally got a code a couple of hours before check in time @ 3pm.

Home away from home

Close to everything bur tucked away for a peaceful nights rest. We were there to attend a robotics tournament at the Horse Park and rhe location made it super easy to get back and forth without a bunch of traffic. Sourhland Bagels had geeat coffee and even better bagels. Would like to cme back when there is more time to explore.

Lexington House

It is convenient for us because our son lives nearby. The location is great! Close to everything. Very clean and the owner left us goodies to eat and drink. Soaps and shampoos were available for us to use.

Property was describe very well and was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for a visit with my daughter. Owners were super responsive and very easy to work with. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Great location

This home was in a perfect location for us. Close to the attractions we had planned to visit and to friends in town. Very quiet neighborhood. Just wish it had been warmer so that we could enjoy the backyard.

Great place to watch UK basketball

Great place and location. Neighborhood is very quiet. The house is nicely decorated, the kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was comfy. There was a University of Kentucky basketball game while we were there and the TV made it easy for us to enjoy it. The patio area was a nice feature but could use some cleaning and TLC.

Cute Place, Conveniently Located

We pleasantly surprised at the convenient location of our place and how clean it was. It was just perfect for what we needed. Nice size back yard for my dog. It had all the amenities a visitor could ask for. Thank you to our host.

Great potential, challenging communication

We really enjoyed the house, its location, and the smooth check-in process. However, communication with the property managers was disappointing—very different from my past experiences with hosts. I reached out three times and never received a response.The house itself had a few concerns. The countertop appeared unstable and potentially unsafe, and the bedroom blinds let in a significant amount of light from the street, making it difficult to sleep.That said, the location was fantastic, and the price was great—so perhaps it’s a case of getting what you pay

Ferguson family weekend

The house was extremely welcoming. Our bed was great after a LONG drive to KY. It has everything we needed to enjoy time with our daughter n her boyfriend. (who just moved to Lexington) The location was near everything we needed to be at and the host was excellent in his response time with questions or suggestions. Will definitely look at staying again when we come to town.

Could have been better

The house itself was okay-ish for a one night stay.The fenced private back yard and location were great.Under the beds and bathroom shower could have been cleaned much better for the cleaning rate they chargeCommunication was difficult! I emailed asking about when I would receive the access code, etc. No response. Emailed the morning of check in, no response. Had to contact VRBO and have them reach out to get any information. After arriving late from traveling all day, I got my child in the bath only to realize there were no towels of any sort in the house. Emailed the property manager and was given a code to access the cleaners closet. Good thing we were only staying one night because there were only 3 towels in there ( enough for each of us). Since my daughter was already in the tub we ended up using paper towels to dry her off!! While the response we received was apologetic, that is not acceptable. There was also no “welcome book”, or check out information available to us. The location was great but will not stay again
