Enjoy the safety of the only car-free stretch of beach in Surfside (Pedestrian Beach). This beach is much more private / less crowded than anywhere else miles around. Spacious patio and the only deck with a hot tub on the Pedestrian beach.

No need to cross any roads, boardwalks, etc to get to the beach. For your convenience, the beach is right at the bottom of the stairs.

No need to set up camp on the beach, since you can come in and out of the shade or up onto the deck easily anytime during the day. Watch your family and friends play in the surf from the deck.

This location is right in the heart of Surfside. The house is a 1-minute drive from the main bridge to Freeport and within easy walking distance to the best restaurants and nightlife. etc. Ample parking and beds for a very large group.

- BEACH -
Quiet, safe, uncrowded, warm-water beach on the only stretch of sand where cars are not permitted (Pedestrian Beach).

The beach is on the property itself (no hike over a boardwalk needed). The ocean slope gets about a foot deeper every 10 feet you walk out, so it’s 5 foot deep about 50 feet out, so it’s easy to find a “sweet spot” that is shoulder-depth relatively close to shore. Dolphins regularly swim 50-75 feet offshore (where you swim).

Unless there is a burn ban, bonfires on the beach are allowed in Surfside (on the ocean side of the dune, not on the house side). From the Surfside website: “Campfires are permitted on the beach only if they are under control and no bigger than 3’ x 3’.”

- Deck -
180° views of the ocean, and shouting distance to friends playing in the surf. 4 tall polywood Adirondack chairs with built-in tables. Many lightweight chairs to arrange for your group as needed. Convenient foot wash is located at the top of the stairs to make it easy to come in from the beach feeling clean and sand-free.

- Hot Tub -
6-person hot tub perched on the upper deck with fantastic views. Easy-open cover lifter.

- Ground level -
1500 sq ft concrete pad for parking and/or living. 2 picnic tables, charcoal grill, and 4 beach swings. Outdoor shower. Assorted beach chairs and umbrellas.

- Bedroom 6 - The Bunk Room -

Toilet and sink with a small counter and mirror in the hall next to the dining room and the bottom of the stairs.

Many cooks can fit easily in this spacious kitchen. Face the barstools and dining areas while cooking on the stove built into the island. Plenty of space to walk between the fridge and island, etc.

Electric 4-burner stove built into the large island facing the open-concept living area.

Keurig Duo coffee maker, K cups (caffeinated and decaf), and a coffee essentials starter kit is provided. The Keurig Duo also has the ability to make drip coffee as well as coffee pods. French press and tea kettle, and many popular tea flavor packets included.

- Dining areas -
The kitchen, dining areas, and living room are in a very large open-concept space (about 1000 sq ft).
The main dining table seats 10.
Tall dining table (in an adjacent area) seats 8.

- Living Room (downstairs) -
3 couches and a big screen smart TV (Roku) and artificial fireplace / heater. Unbelievable ocean views through the bay window. Beachy books and family games.

- Living Room (upstairs) -
Second hangout area with impossibly beautiful views of the ocean through the bay windows over the half wall. Easily talk to anyone in the downstairs area.

- Air Conditioning / Heating -
The house has an electric central HVAC system (no gas). Downstairs thermostat is at the bottom of the stairs. Upstairs thermostat is in the hallway next to the bathroom.

- Guest access -
The entire property is private for you and your group.

- Parking -
There is free parking for up to 10 vehicles (depending on size). There are 6 parking spaces in the driveway. If additional spaces are needed, you can park in the left and right bays on the concrete pad underneath the house. 2-3 cars can park in each of the side bays. The center bay is too narrow to park in - please leave it clear.
