The Space:
Private cottage, with open kitchen & living spa fully appointed for your vacation. Calming cypress wood interiors and modern clean design offer an oasis in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Comfortable bedrooms, equipped with hotel style linens & product, and en suite bathrooms. 2 level private cottage. Enjoy your stay with ease, with all of downtown's best right at your doorstep.
'Driftwood' at the Dune cottages accommodates up to 9 guests between 3 bedrooms & 3 baths.
Flex Bedroom #1 â King bed (or two twins) & Twin bed + Ensuite bathroom
Bedroom #2 â Queen bed + Ensuite bathroom
Bedroom #3 â Queen bed + Ensuite bathroom
Living Room â Queen-sized luxury memory foam sleeper sofa
*All âFlexâ rooms can be converted from King beds to two twins when requested*

Guest Access:
Each Town & Island Co. unit is equipped with coded locks and unique codes that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock to the rear of the blue building at the front of the property (56 A & B) for all Blue Haven and Dune Cottages guests to use as needed.
The Neighborhood:
Cannonborough Elliotborough is a charming, hip neighborhood, dotted with indie boutiques, vintage stores, trendy eateries & bakeries. Residents, students, & vacationers enjoy a walkable lifestyle, just a few blocks from bustling Upper King Street.
Getting Around:
Located in the heart of the downtown peninsula, with a neighborhood location Rated a 97/100 walkability score. Explore Charleston with ease.
Too hot or too far to walk? Not a problem, Charleston offers a variety of transportation options such as a free downtown shuttle, pedicab, or ride share companies.
Other Things to Note:
Downtown Pool Club Access: Town & Island Co. offers access to The Wonderer, Charlestonâs premier global-inspired lifestyle club with resort-style pool and amenities, like pool-side cabanas, onsite eateries, indoor gym and fitness studio. If using the Pool area, it is required that parties of 8+ rent a Cabana.
Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).
Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.
