Hillman Retreat House is perfect for large groups to enjoy time together in any season. With 13 bedrooms and a full size futon, we can sleep up to 27 adults comfortably. And there's plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out and enjoy different activities.
We have amenities like a private indoor pickle ball court, in home sauna for 6-8 people, dock access on our private lake, pool table, foosball, 2 smart TVs, disc golf, kickball field, fire pit, 96 foot dock, 6 stand up paddle boards, canoe, kids kayak, 2 person pedal boat, yoga room, and a large all purpose room stocked with art supplies, board games, and puzzles.
13 BEDROOMS:
- 11 bedrooms have a king beds, and one of these has an attached room with a twin bed
- 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds
- 1 bedroom has one twin bed

6 BATHROOMS:
- 4 with walk in showers
- plenty of white cotton towels
- shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included
- another shower is available in the sauna area (total of 5 showers onsite)

A large yoga or movement room on the second floor overlooks the beautiful lake, with 15 yoga mats and a few other props included.

There's also a cozy media room with big screen TV and streaming services set up. Plus a large all purpose "creative" room, great for art projects or board games, and we include basic art supplies and a variety of board games and puzzles for guests to use. Additionally there's a smaller sitting room for small groups to gather or for individuals to relax away from the larger group.
In the walk-out basement you'll find a game room with a pool table, foosball, a big TV and a couch to lounge on. There are also several windows for lots of natural light and a door out to the lake side of the property. Next to the game room is the sauna area with an additional shower, sink, and a stacked washer and dryer along with laundry detergent.

The property sits behind a small church that's no longer being used regularly and has 800 feet of shoreline on a small lake with minimal boat traffic. A canoe is available along with six stand up paddle boards, and there is a 96 foot dock with a small bench for relaxing. The lake is great for fishing, and we have a small beach area to wade into the water alongside the dock. We're clearing the plant life on one side of the dock to keep a nice swimming area, and the depth stays around 4-5 feet all the way out past the end of the dock.
Use the giant grassy field for outdoor games or disc golf -- we have four holes set up and several discs for guests to use. Across the field is our field house with an indoor pickle ball court set up for guests to use during their stay. There's also a bar area and bathrooms in that building, along with a bluetooth sound system for playing music from your devices. Wi-fi is strong in both buildings.

We have a very high rebooking rate, so we open our calendar to one year out and guests get first dibs on rebooking the same dates next year.
