Beautiful property, would recommend anybody who loves camping, but likes to wake up not tired perfect scenario with a beautiful cabin with no running water, a personal outhouse and showers, flush, toilet toilets, and running water up a short path. Excellent for a solo traveler.

Lovely stay in a peaceful setting. I loved the mattress on the bed, it was so comfortable. We spent some time on the beautiful beach, a perfect Lake Superior spot.

Cozy Retreat

We had a great stay! The cabin was lovely, and it was a perfect option to spend some time surrounded by nature with small children. We will definitely be back!

Cozy long weekend getaway

Comfy clean cabin, with tree and river view

We loved our stay, esp the hiking trails to Lake Superior! The cabin was comfortable, modern, clean, with big windows facing the trees and river.

Had an awesome time, enjoyed the quiet, woods, trail and especially the sauna. Gave 4 stars for clean only because tray in toaster oven had dried food crumbs, otherwise everything else was great .

Perfect place for weekend getaway!

This was our second stay at camp amnicon and we love it! Perfect for a weekend up north. The host was extremely flexible with scheduling due to a March snow storm, and we had a wonderful time.

Perfect getaway!

I spent a week at the gratitude cabin with my friend, and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin has everything you could need but isn’t excessive either! The surroundings are very pretty and foster a perfect relaxing time.

Lovely and clean cabin!

We had a very nice time staying here! The cabin was lovely and very clean. We enjoyed the access of fish toilets and showers at the lodge and the area was peaceful! We couldn’t walk down to the lake because the trail wasn’t cleared but we had a lovely stay!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! And I'm sorry you couldn't make it down to The Lake! That's such a cool part of the experience here. I'm guessing you tried taking the Porcupine Trail? You're right, we haven't had a chance to clear that trail yet this year. The Lake Trail is always open, and is much broader and easier than any of the other trails. We'd love to have you back sometime!

We do a lot of camping, so this cabin suited us well while we were visiting for a family wedding. Functional and simple!

Cabin was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay. The outhouse was nice really liked the fact that there was a light switch inside to turn the light on at night. Only downfall was the outhouse needs either a vent or deodorizer.

Lovely

The cabin itself was just perfect. We loved being tucked away in the woods with the ability to hike down to the lake! The tics and mosquitoes were terrible which is just Mother Nature but be prepared!
