Great Stay Besides Pool

The place was exactly what we were looking for, however the pool was fully green for our first two nights. Was one of the main reason we booked the stay and weren't able to use it.

Rehoboth Beach

The house needs a bit of cleaning. It clearly can host upto 15 guests there is no doubt abouy it. Locks on the doors need to be changed all of them. It does not lock properly whether its a bathrooms or front main door. Pool area need a lot of cleaning. Agent Myles was very good and helpful throughout the process. Check in and out was easy process but the hidden charges about insurance and linen package was very unpleasent.

Pluses-It was very spacious. Would def accommodate 15. Large kitchen and seating was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped. The sun room and storage cubes in living room (open the foot stools in LR) resemble Toysrus. Kept our 4 year old grandson in toy heaven. Hot tub was nice. Two refrigerators on different floors were wonderful. Minuses----Not as clean as should be. Owner should use another cleaning co. Dropped an earring, moved a living room footstool. Was clump of food and a decomposed round orange mushy thing. Kitchen drawers had spilled food, crumbs.Bath mats, the white ones had black smudges. Wood work was very dusty and in corners there was dust and debris. Mold on ceiling in one upstairs bath. There were stains/spots on furniture that upholstery cleaner would have removed Just not pleasant to wonder what the smudges were. Pool was not heated all but two days although we were told it would be after we contacted office. our second day we were there so basically unusable. Many floats piled up around the pool, but they were covered with wet mushy leaves. Went to sit on patio the first day and chairs and rugs were covered with same wet mushy leaves. I can see this being the case on subsequent days but on check in day? We cleaned it up and it was useable from then on. No hooks or rods to hang wet bath towels on. We had to drape towels on backs of kitchen chairs or on bath tub faucets or hang in bedroom. Photos do not show well.

We are dealing with the cleaner regarding your feedback as we hold cleaners to an extremely high standard and want to ensure guests they have a clean rental to enjoy! I know the pool heater went down during your stay, and we apologize about that. Once you informed us - we did have the pool company come out the same day to address. We did have a very wet and windy few days, so unfortunately we cannot control the amount of leaves that fall during these fall months. However, the owner plans to trim/cut back one of the primary trees that drops leaves, so hopefully this helps prevent this issue in the future fall months. Thank you again for taking the time to submit a detailed review!

Great Family House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted to make family memories and this house enabled that. Enough space for everyone, plenty of games and having the pool was a plus.

Family stay

This house is very spacious and was great for my big family. The only issue was the shower was coming off of the wall and water was seeping under causing it to bubble. The house and location of the house is spectacular but the plumbing needs an upgrade.

It was nothing like they advertised. Pool was dirty ,leak in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. I could go on but it would take too long.

Not such a great house

The house did not meet our expectations because: 1. The layout was awkward with the kitchen in the basement, 2. The furniture in the main TV room was uncomfortable, 3. Except for the TV in the basement, the TVs were temperamental and had to be periodically be rebooted, 4. The king mattress had no slats or box springs under it resulting in us sleeping on the floor, 5. Several of the amenities did not work, ie the fooz ball machine had a ping ping ball instead of the right one, we couldn't access the video game system and one of the game consoles did not work. Altogether a disappointing house that we would not rent again. On the plus side, our agent Stephanie was good.

Notes for 111 Scarborough

First the house is wonderful. Would recommend it in a heartbeat. Couple of things to note: Trash: When we arrived the recycling was full to the brim with beer cans and bottles. We were fixing to move the regular trashcan to curb on the prescribed day, but someone else arrived and did this for us. We asked if they would be back for the recycling can, which I think was due to be out the next day, and they said they would, but they never came back (or did and were not able to get past our car). We did notice that it would have been hard to pull recycling bin out without repositioning our car in the driveway, so maybe they came and couldn't get it out. So, in the end, recycling is still full when we left. So, the recommendation is: if someone else comes to pull cans to the curb, make sure guests know to position their cars on the driveway to allow access. Hottub: Hottub was pretty dirty. Looks like a very nice, new hottub but probably needs to be cleaned. We did not use it. (Pool was great!) TV: could not figure out how to use TV in living room (pairing issue with remote?). Not big deal for us, we watched in the porch.
