Crystal View - Charming Cottage on Crystal River!

Tucked in amid the secluded, natural wooded setting and just steps from the river. Crystal View cottage has a glamorously rustic vibe with all the amenities for comfort and cozy family vacations or a quiet retreat in the woos.

With three bedrooms and two baths, Crystal View sleeps up to seven guests. As you enter the home, you’ll find yourself in a quiet, peaceful home, decorated to inspire relaxation. Tranquil colors and a huge sectional in the great room just beg for everyone to gather for a home-cooked dinner. Large windows grace the home, giving it natural lighting and a feeling of brining the outdoors inside.

A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, kitchen island with barstools, and an open design make conversation easy. Seating for six in the dining room is perfect for playing games between meals.

Even better, the outdoor seating area includes lounge chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit for those after-dinner smores. Kayaks are provided, and a private dock make the river easily accessible.
The master bedroom en-suite features a standing shower and plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a twin bunk beds plus a trundle, designed for three kids and a slumber party!

Whether you’re on the river or off for an adventure, or relaxing on the porch, rocking and watching families of kayakers float on by, there’s plenty to see and do in the area. Lake Michigan public beach is a half mile down the road, and Cristal View cottage is only a mile from downtown Glen Arbor, where you can enjoy fantastic food at local restaurants, visit art galleries, shop ‘til you drop, and more!

Great River Adventure

This is a lovely home - very spacious, very comfortable, with a kitchen to die for and a fabulous main BR with ensuite, a smaller but comfortable 2nd BR, and even a 3rd with bunkbeds we didn't use. Having the washer/dryer also was a huge plus. The deck was great with 3 different seating areas where we could enjoy the beautiful Crystal River a few feet away. We were a little worried that the location would be buggy, but it wasn't at all, and we were able to enjoy evenings outside facing the river or enjoying the fire pit without getting chewed on. The other pleasant surprise was the abundant bird life, including a great blue heron that fished the river literally less that 10 yards from us as we watched, plus green herons, cormorants, kingfishers, hawks, pileated woodpeckers, and even a bald eagle flyby. And a final plus were the 7 kayaks to choose from when we wanted to go play in the river. All in all, a great place to stay and we'd love to come back sometime.
