We had a wonderful stay! My family celebrated my Grandmother's 92nd birthday. We had a wonderful time and were able to take walks to the beach daily! She felt like the real "Queen' in this castle cottage!

Great place to stay. Short walk to the beach. All the amenities required. Only 1 trash bag though. Would need to bring more

Amazing Labor Day Trip!

Very good! Loved the stay for the price. Pool for the kids in the courtyard was a big win! A few items needed fixing and the crew was there within 12 hours. Loved our stay and plan to do this next year.

Great multi family rental

We loved staying here! Having the private pool was wonderful, especially since we had younger children and didn't always want to tote everything to the beach. The area is really nice and clean with great walkability. The beach is about a 3 minute walk from the house and was great. We liked that this area is less crowded than main gulf shores area but that was only about a 20 minute drive. The house was clean and had enough bathrooms for everyone and had plenty of bathtubs for littles. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Cottage 16, however, there were several issues which were not competed during the 4 days of our stay. Hopefully the owners have been given the detailed list of repairs to this lovely cottage before the next guests arrive.

Great location

This was a great location and resort. We traveled from Seattle, WA, and Fort Wayne, IN. It was a super fun place to meet up for a family vacation. My only complain about this house was the lack of towels. We had less people than the house could fit, but we did not have enough towels and were constantly washing them. Other than that it was super clean.

Wonderful cottage for family

This cottage was great for our family. Little ones enjoyed the pool and patio while we grilled dinner. Just a few problems, air conditioner didn't seem to be cooling properly but it was taken care of quickly. A few slow drains and door locks not working but that just happens with a rental! We loved it and will probably rent this cottage again! Great location for walking to everything the Beach Club has to offer.

Family stay

We enjoyed beach and pools. Confused about where ocean view was from this cottage. We enjoyed the turtles and ducks living in the lagoon very much. We didnt enjoy the outdoor gas grill. Years of accumulated grease underneath caused a fire hazard and cost us about 100 dollars in ruined shrimp fish and steak when it all got on fire.

Spacious Home

We have always loved going to the Beach Club, this is the first time renting a cottage. The cottage was very spacious and then some, there were somethings that could use a fix but would not keep me from renting. Well-equipped for our needs and the pool was a bonus for the children. The house sits right by the water way, so you see turtles and small alligators. The home is really nice I would return again.

The pool and the pool area had not been cleaned and despite several calls to Beachball Properties no action was ever taken over the course of our two week stay. Have photos if needed. Lastly, we found it disturbing that there were video cameras positioned over our private pool area. Our expectation was that we would have privacy in this pool area which was not disclosed in advance and we believe it may very well be illegal. We would not have rented this property had we known that cameras were there or that the pool had not been cleaned since last year.

Fabulous Vacation

Cottage 16 is beautiful! This is the first time in 20 years my family has booked a house instead of a condo. We booked this house again for next year. Very spacious, lots of windows for natural light. Five bedrooms made it comfortable for our family of ten. There were a few minor issues when we arrived but BEACHBALL was made aware. This house location has a straight shot to the first pier to the beach. Only a 4-5 minute walk. The pool in the back of house was just big enough for the kids to gather in the evening to enjoy. I highly recommend this house!

Bath towels were very nice, furniture and beds good too. Main floor air conditioning didn't work well. Stuck at 75, would run 5 minutes then stop. Rep came twice, it got better, still sounded bad at unit. Upstairs closet door off, leaning against wall, fall hazard at night. Master TV didn't work, no instructions on how to get it working. No instructions on how to lock main door without calling manager. Broken outdoor furniture in bushes, decking needs resurfacing. Daily parking passes for 7 weren't valid overnight. No info anywhere that said daily doesn't mean 24 hrs, only while daylight. Gate sign says 40 for entire stay parking passes, you charge 50. After paying premium rental rates and seeing thousands of empty parking places, this ridiculous HOA policy and problems with this property will likely prevent us from renting at Beach Club again. No relief from property managers on problems, just a runaround from gate to VRBO to property manager to HOA.

We’re glad to hear the towels, furniture, and bedding met your expectations, but we understand how the maintenance items affected your experience. Our team will be reviewing the A/C concerns, closet door, and outdoor furniture immediately. Regarding the TV and door lock—our check-in instructions automatically include steps on how to lock the door, but we apologize if this was unclear. We also were not notified about the TV issue during your stay; had we known, we would have been more than happy to assist right away. As for parking, the HOA requires that each vehicle staying overnight purchase its own pass. These passes, along with all pricing and rules, are fully controlled by the HOA, and we must follow their guidelines. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Your feedback is important, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide a smoother, more enjoyable stay.
