Family getaway

Very clean. Supplied everything we could ask for. Beautifully updated, felt like home. Excellent communication with owners. Location was great close to the wedding site. Will definitely book again.

Great communication with the owners, they were very friendly and accommodating and answered all messages promptly! Very clean property in a great location. Would 100% recommend staying here and if ever back in KY will contact them again!

Enjoyable stay in Elizabethtown

House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The house was was a nice older house with all of the old house charm you would expect. We enjoyed the classic wood floors that showed the craftsmanship of the time the house was built, you don't see that much any longer. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and downtown was a very short walk away.

Perfect house for baseball weekend!

The house was perfect for our quick stay in Elizabethtown! It’s on a cute, quiet street within walking distance to downtown. We enjoyed walking to dinner after baseball games, and I loved my morning walk to the local coffee shop and around the neighborhood. The house is clean, has a ton of charm, and is beautifully decorated! I would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay!!

Such a cute property! Was really clean and well kept. The management was super helpful and prompt when I had questions. Worked really well for our family. We were in town for a baseball tournament. Was only a short drive to the ball park. Close to great restaurants. Can’t say enough great things.

Comfortable stay.

The home is very clean and is supplied with most necessities. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels provided. The television is a smart tv and was used for streaming when we wanted to watch tv. The whole interior is well decorated.

Quick stay

We stayed here for only one night on our way home from a fishing tourney. I choose this place based on locations and 5 star reviews. I completely agree with other reviewers. This place was awesome in every way. Great communication and beautiful home. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for hosting us.

I've really enjoyed Poplar Place! It's a beautiful home and has been a comfortable respite spot after long work days. The king bed was extremely comfortable. I love that it has a desk. Keurig and pods at the ready. My favorite spot is the back screened in porch...it has a light and ceiling fan and was perfect spot at the end of a long day. I hope to visit again!

Great house

This house was perfect for two families for our swim trip. The three bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped in case you wanted to prepare dinners, and there is plenty of space to relax. The outdoor patio is nice. Thanks for your hospitality!!!

Above expectations

This property was one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed at before. It was extremely spacious and clean. My granddaughters and I were there for a family wedding in Elizabeth town. We could walk to everything. Todd was an excellent host and his property exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful and welcoming stay!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The hosts were so welcoming and the property was spacious, clean, and well-decorated. Check-in and check-out were easy and the home is in a perfect location - on a quiet street but very close to stores and just a few minutes off the highway. We were looking for a place to use as a “home base” in between Louisville and the Mammoth Cave area and this house exceeded our expectations - it truly was a perfect home base for our family. I whole-heartedly recommend this property!

Little Gem in Elizabethtown

Everything was perfect for our weekend stay in E-town. Clean and comfortable space with great little extras including an office, front porch, and a screened-in patio room. Cute, safe neighborhood and many quaint restaurants, shops and taverns were within walking distance. Property managers were excellent with instructions and communication. 25 minute drive from Ft. Knox.

Centrally located for the Bourbon trail

My husband and I made a trip to the Louisville area to visit some distilleries on the Bourbon trail, Mammoth Cave, the Corvette museum and the Ark Encounter. We stayed at this recently updated home in Elizabethtown. It is centrally located for those activities plus many more. The pictures of the home don't do it justice. It was very clean and had a great Kentucky vibe. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the back porch. Would definitely rent again!

Lovely House, Great Location

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Period details, oak floors, crown molding, arched dining room doors etc., make for a beautiful interior. The kitchen is updated and has all the necessary amenities. We especially enjoyed the screened back porch. The location was excellent as we had easy access to restaurants and shops. Communication with the host and check in/out process was easy. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again! Jack

Cute house in a nice area.

We enjoyed our stay. We wished it was warm enough to use the screened back porch but maybe next time. The house was clean and very well decorated. As a family with small children I appreciated even though the house wasn’t necessarily geared towards kids that all “knickknacks” and breakable decor was put mostly out of reach of little hands. We appreciated the closeness to town and the walkabilty of the area. The owners kept check out simple and easy as well. I love historic houses so this house was nestled in the perfect area. Bonus: they offered firm pillows as well as more plush pillows on every room.

Lovely home and great hosts

We were in Kentucky for the weekend because our son was finishing up his Advanced Camp at Fort Knox. We wanted a nice place to stay and relax for the weekend and also have a peaceful place to enjoy time together on family day. This house was so cozy and clean. It was the perfect place to share a meal and some quality time before we had to take him back for the evening. We loved sitting on the screened in porch together. The cool breeze and shade from the trees made it one of our favorite places to gather. The house is laid out very well and it is truly lovely. The neighborhood is safe and has the feel of warm and cozy small town America. The square is near the house and there are lots of places to eat and explore. The owners were great and quick to respond to questions. Their instructions are clear. I was initially worried because there is only one bathroom because we had 5 adults staying together. It all worked out just fine. This was a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Cute and convenient

This unit is conveniently located off I-65 and Elizabethtown's main drag, Mulberry Street. It was two minutes from an event we were attending at the Pritchard Community Center and 3-4 minutes from various dining options. Easy communication with owner through Vrbo app. Entrance instructions were clear and easy to work. House was lovely. We only had TWO TINY issues. One was if you have more than one car (place sleeps 6-7), parking is somewhat awkward because the pace is split into two units and the downstairs unit uses the bottom half of the driveway and there's no onstreet parking as best we could tell. (None of us wanted to test it by getting an overnight ticket.) The other was that the bathroom tub on the main floor is installed a an *incredibly* slight but noticeable angle so that one feels like one is tilting toward the wall. It gave showering a slight funhouse feel. Amusement park bonus! We were all more amused than put out. We all agreed we really liked the place. It's decorated very nicely.
