The House was an awesome place. The 3 floors and bedrooms made the place comfortable for the amount of people we had. Kitchen was well furnished and had most everything we needed. Location to Acadia and the town was perfect so trips to either were very manageable.

We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Convenient location a short drive from Bar Harbor and a short drive to most Acadia sights. Well stocked for a large family. Ample parking. Only thing I'll note is the beds all sit unusually high. There are step stools to help get in and out but could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.

The location of this house is amazing! It is conveniently located close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The house is spacious and works really well for a multi-family vacation. There are plenty of bath towels, extra sheets, and pillows. The two decks and fire pit area are also so enjoyable. We are thinking of booking again next year:)

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin near Bar Harbor. Lots of nature walks, water activities, and nature cruises. We stayed for one week and had plenty to do every day.The cabin was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. We highly recommend it for family or friend reunions.

This home was exactly what I envisioned when planning a family vacation for six (6) adults in proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.It was a five bedroom home that allowed everyone the ability to work remote when needed or to check in with the office, yet plenty of shared space for us to hang out. Less than a 15 minute drive to the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. And depending which Trail we hiked, it was anywhere between 10 to 25 minutes to reach our destination. The well stocked kitchen meant we were able to share home-cooked meals which was nice after a full day exploring. Plenty of outdoor space to also hang out. This cabin in the woods was the backdrop for a great family vacation.

If you want the very best location on MDI, look no further. Private location - if you want to hit all the most popular spots, you won’t be in your car longer than 15 minutes. Having a great lawn for our bernedoodle to play was a plus.

The property is in a great location if you are looking to hike and go into town. Rooms were clean and spacious. Living room and dining area was spacious enough for all 9 of us!

A wonderful stay, perfect family home - we comfortably fit 7 people and 2 dogs. Really enjoyed time out on the deck as a family. Very easy to get to trails and town from the house. Would recommend staying at Ken’s!

7 of us stayed at this little hideaway cabin and really enjoyed ourselves for the whole week. There was hiking and cycling, antiquing, lobster rolls, ice cream, making art, sightseeing, sunrises and sunsets, stargazing, and celebrating a milestone 50th wedding anniversary! We had a lovely time on our 7th trip to Bar Harbor and would highly recommend the cabin if you want something clean, quiet, and close to town.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our visit. The home had plenty of space for our family. It was very convenient to the Park Loop, Acadia, and Bar Harbor. The pool table was well used with challenges between the family members.

Excellent location

Cabin/house is very comfortable, great location with plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and 1 toddler. It was nice being so close to everything. We hiked in the AM, went back for lunch and a nap then hiked again in the afternoon. Highly recommend Diver Ed tour and Arcadia Lobster cruise.

Excellent Cabin Rental!!!

My adult kids and I had a wonderful week at this cabin! It's so close to Bar Harbor, less than 5 minutes from Sieur de Mont Acadia entry, and is so quiet! We loved the fire pit, balcony, and beautiful light coming in the large windows!
