This tiny, cozy cottage has all you will need for a weekend getaway to beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford, but it will also be a comfortable place for a longer stay. Enjoy a double bed with a high end mattress as well as a desk and comfortable office chair ideal for remote work. The living room has a double bed sized IKEA sofa bed for extra sleeping accommodations, but keep in mind, the cottage is small so 4 adults in the space might feel a bit tight. Enjoy high speed Internet as well as a 42 inch smart TV (incl. Netflix). The cottage is fully fenced w/ a private outdoor courtyard (table, chairs + umbrella).
From the cottage you are only 2 blocks away from everything historic downtown has to offer. The walk to popular downtown with all its eateries, breweries, shops and bars is idyllic with beautiful historic homes and majestic oak trees. The lakefront and Riverwalk are also in walking or biking distance. You will love the unique urban lifestyle this cottage provides!
From the cottage you are only 2 blocks away from everything historic downtown has to offer. Hi there, we are Jose and Claudia and we look forward to hosting you and your family! We moved to Sanford in 2004 and fell in love with the historic district right away! We have two boys who love playing soccer, horseback riding - and being silly ;) Jose and I love to support local so you will often find us out and about! We love our little town of Sanford with all its unique businesses, cultural offerings, and popular events. One of our favorite events is Sanford Porchfest in February.
We just finished building a home about a block away from this one, so we know this neighborhood inside out! We feel at home here, even though both Jose and I moved here from far away: Germany (Claudia) and Colombia (Jose). We enjoy traveling so we understand how important it is for guests to find a place that will make them feel at home. That's what we attempted when creating this very space! We selected only the best quality (mattresses, linens, furniture, etc.) and created a cozy inside and outside area where you can enjoy spending time with each other, or just relax and soak in the surroundings!

This home is located in popular Historic Downtown Sanford, just on the edge of the residential historic district with its beautiful historic homes and surrounded by beautiful majestic trees. From here you are only a couple of walking minutes away from bars, breweries, restaurants and shops! The Sanford Marina and Riverwalk are also within close reach. There is so much to explore here and you can do it all right from your doorstep!
