Downtown Sanford är en lätt 16-minuters promenad eller cykeltur passerar historiska, restaurerade bostäder. En gång i centrum möter du uppenbarligen oändliga sightseeing, shopping, restauranger och avkopplingsmöjligheter i våra många varierade och unika affärer, restauranger, pubar och mikrobryggerier.

Lägenheten utstrålar en "gammal florida" känsla, med original syltad cypresspanel, stort vardagsrum och sovrum och ett nybyggt, fullt utrustat kök. Två yttre däck erbjuder avkopplande avkoppling i en trädgårdsområde med utsikt över 1 hektar mark och parkera tvärs över gatan. Sovrummet har en läsarea, skrivbord och stol och en king size-säng. Vardagsrummet har en bäddsoffa, plats för nio, och en platt-TV med luftkanaler och videostreaming från Amazon Prime. Vi erbjuder även Wi-Fi-tillgång till Internet.

Vi är på en 2-kvarter lång gata med en "käpp" korsning i varje ände, där trafiken är minimal och "välskött". Riklig parkering är alltid tillgänglig på gatan.

Charming Apartment

This Garden Apartment is cute and quaint. It sits in a quiet neighborhood with access to 2 comfortable decks. These decks allow views of this beautifully manicured property and Live Oak trees. The apartment is cozy with a comfy king bed, updated bathroom and a well equipped kitchen.A perfect spot to enjoy Sanford and the general area. We would love to return.

Great Get Away Respite

My college daughter and I met for a couple days midway between us to get away. We had no idea what a great little town Sanford is! Our stay at the "Old Florida" apartment was just right-great location, extremely clean, great communication, lovely decor and thoughtful amenities. We took full advantage of the beautiful decks overlooking the gardens and loved being in the space. Highly recommend!

Loved staying at this property!

How Many Ways Can We Say "PERFECT" ??

Gorgeous neighborhood and home with a superbly appointed apartment for us to spend our week. The hosts were warm and inviting and I believe we have made new friends with these folks :) We give a 5 star plus rating to this stay and we look forward to booking with them every time we come to Sanford, which is a delightful town. Cozily Eclectic Storybook Style

Conveniently appointed with everything you need to easily settle in… full kitchen and surprisingly large master and spacious shower bath. Dormer windows enable you to see all views, including your street parking. Private patio provided a spacious and beautiful view of extended manicured lawn in a lovely tree-lined neighborhood. Recommend bringing a hair dryer and luggage that’s easy to carry up two short flights of stairs—I will always choose the Rooftop Garden Apartment for my stays in historic, Stanford. Hosts are kind and responsive.. perfect!

Cottage in the Trees

I absolutely loved my 4 night stay, top of the list for accommodations if I return to Sanford. A peaceful retreat in the trees everything you could possibly want or need in the cottage. The decor created a lovely atmosphere, and the deck was outstanding. Sarah is very kind, I think we could chat over coffee or a bottle of wine! Next time.

Birthday Trip

This property was amazing, from the pristine lawn and landscaping to the adorable, cozy one bedroom apartment. We were there for our birthdays and wanted to get to know the Historic District of Sanford, as well as the neighborhoods. It rained every day, unfortunately however that didn't stop us for enjoying our stay. This place is well worth another visit. Ginny and Chuck

Beautiful surroundings, everything you need, I would’ve enjoyed a larger television to watch movies etc. and the round table very was awkward to maneuver also AND MOST IMPORTANTLY none of the windows had black out so we were forced to have the light of the neighbor shining on us all night but overall , lovely , peaceful and fab I would definitely return

Peaceful get away

Rental was well appointed, cozy and comfortable. Loved the the private deck. John and Sarah made sure my husband and I felt welcome. What would have made the stay that much nicer was a softer bed and the bedroom darker at night. There was a lot of light coming in from the street lights and flood light. Overall I would recommend it to friends and would go back for a short visit.

We loved the little apartment. I do have a few recommendations though. The left motion light for the bed was a bit bright and very sensitive so it woke me up a few times. And the trash can in the restroom would be better in my opinion simply for guests who are having their monthly visit with aunt flow. Everything was perfect otherwise. Thank you!

Nice apartment, everything we needed

Great location in Sanford. Nice quiet neighborhood. Street parking in front of the main house. It wouldn’t be ideal if it was rainy due to the trek through the yard, around the house, and up the stairs across the deck though. Very clean and had everything you could need. Completely stocked kitchen and bathroom. Great little desk area. Two nice decks for relaxing. Comfy bed with nice linens. Nice swing in a big tree in the garden area you walk through to get to the apt. But don’t sit in it. They’ll turn the sprinklers on you.

After spending over half of our lives in New Hampshire, we bought our winter residence in Sarah's home town of Sanford, Florida. After years of retirement, we embarked upon Sarah's long-time dream of converting our in-law apartment to a vacation rental.

We are located in an old, historic Sanford neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown. The property offers a serene and relaxing environment with expansive views of the grounds, gardens, and a local park from the two large decks. We have watched the Sanford community evolve into a thriving center for shopping, dining, and numerous celebrations and cultural events. Sanford is rapidly becoming a focal point for eclectic, upscale restaurants and micro-breweries.

We strive to provide a safe, healthy, and allergen-free living space. We use no harsh chemicals for cleaning and laundry. In addition, we run an ozone air purifier between each occupancy. Smoking (including "vaping") is not permitted in the residence, on the decks, or on the grounds of the property. We are a pet-free, smoke-free environment.

Orlando-Sanford International Airport (SFB) is only two miles away, Orlando is a 25 mile drive, and the numerous theme parks and attractions are about 45 miles away on major, limited-access highways.

New Smyrna Beach, Daytona Beach, and Merritt Island are 30, 40, and 70 miles away, respectively, where you can enjoy beach relaxation, casual dining, ocean swimming, and surf fishing. In addition, Merritt Island offers a vast wildlife sanctuary and fishing in Mosquito Lagoon, and the neighboring Kennedy Space Center provides fascinating presentations of our space exploration experiences.
