Located three blocks from the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park in the wonderful enclave of Ocean Grove.

Renovated first-floor apartment, brand new kitchen, floors and linens as well as renovated bathrooms. You will have access to shared garden space with a private table to relax after the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. Linens, bath towels, internet service, 2 beach badges, beach chairs, and a grill are included. There is free on street parking.

Note. I also rent a one bedroom above this unit that makes it perfect for families or couples to rent side by side.

Cozy retreat in Ocean Grove

Great quiet neighborhood a few blocks walk to the beach and town. Also close enough to stroll or bike to Asbury Park for more restaurants, nightlife etc. Very clean. Updated kitchen in this historic home was a nice touch. A separate bedroom gave a feeling of roominess, more shelves and surfaces for kitchen prep would be helpful but setting is perfect for short stays . Bed was comfortable, more than enough storage for clothes; a second nightstand and lamp would have been welcome. Host very responsive with nice area suggestions. Would stay again..

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Great location but rather small and quirky

The property is in a great location (less than 4 short blocks from the beach) and the space is clean and functional. However, the space is quite small and even for just 2 people. There’s really no place to sit and relax except for the bedroom. There’s a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The outside area is available but the one picnic table is right next to the garbage cans and the other is next to the laundry room. The front porch is not part of the space that you can use despite being pictured in the photographs. (The upstairs porch is available, however, if you rent the upstairs space,) Fortunately, the unit is very close to the beach and you can spend your time there (which we did) when the weather permits. The unit does have its quirks also, like the power going off if you use the microwave and the AC or blow dryer at the same time. You then have to go into the basement and flip the breaker switch to get the power back on. We had to do this several times over the week that we were there. All in all it was a fine space, and the owner is very nice and quite responsive to any and all requests.
