Our host was amazing at reaching out prior to the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to communicate and get help during our stay too. We appreciated the attention to detail at the house, it felt like a home. We would recommend this home to families or groups of friends. Our girls weekend was amazing!

The house is great for older guests who can’t do stairs. Loved how many bathrooms and beds. The host made sure you felt welcome and had everything you needed. The host also responded quick if you needed anything.

Amazing stay

Our stay was incredible. This is an awesome location, so close to the beach and downtown area. The house was well equipped and clean. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were awesome to use. We had an amazing trip and this house was perfect for our needs.

Great family vacation home

There was three families that totaled ten people. The space worked great for us. The house was clean and ready when we showed up. Communication with the host was easy. The house is in a great location. It was easy to get to the lake, parks and downtown. The pool and hot tub felt amazing. There is a little playground between the houses that the younger kids enjoyed. Would definitely come back here.

Comfortable house with loads of room. The property is an easy walk to town and the beach. The house has multiple private spaces which was nice as several of us had to work on line. Outdoor spaces were peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Only adults came on this last trip however in the past we have vacationed with a wide age range of babies and children. The house accommodates them with toys and a safe barrier from the hot tub and pool. This is an outstanding property for a family holiday.

South Haven Fall Getaway

Very nice home, lots of bedrooms and (finally) a decent number of bathrooms, which is hard to find. Fun area and the residents are friendly and very welcoming! Owner is nice and accommodating of requests. We had a good rental experience!

Ladies' wkd getaway

This house was great for our group of women to enjoy for the wkd. We appreciate that there was a full kitchen with plenty oof cookware and appliances. We were grateful for four bathrooms and found the heated pool and hot tub to be quite relaxing!

Comfortable House. Great Location

Great place for our annual Christmas / New Years Family Hangout. Comfortable and clean. Close to lots of shopping. Highly recommend for families with kids. Tons of toys, garage is full of bikes, play areas. Would be so fun in the summer.

Exceptional place, exceptional owner

Everyone wants to come back! The accommodations were comfortable and clean with so much available for summertime fun. The location is close to both the beach, which is pristine, and the town, which is hoppin', giving our children and their families much to enjoy with little travel. Jim was so kind and generous, making sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make our stay in his beautiful home a vacation to remember. Thank you, Jim!

Amazing vacation location!

We had an absolute amazing time at this location for vacation! We came right before Memorial Day weekend and it was awesome! We had 5 kids and the pool was so much fun for them! There were so many kid items there as well as toys for them, which was helpful! We did rent the golf cart as well and had so much going for little golf cart rides, heading down to the marina, or going the few blocks to the sand/lake! The location of this house makes it easy to walk wherever you want to go or take a quick ride. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions as well. We definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking to take a trip!

Big place, big memories

The owner was helpful and accommodating the hot tub was amazing! This place had more than enough room for our large group and the Atari machine on the wall provided hours of group fun in the cold weather. Great location, short walk to the shops and restaurants and a nice quiet view out back amongst the trees. We will be back again. Thanks Jim!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We vacationed in South Haven for the first time in August of 2004. At that time, we had a family of 4, with a newborn and 1 year old. The town was so beautiful and kid-friendly that we knew we wanted to come back over and over. Since we are originally from Illinois and now live in the middle of Michigan, the South Haven location is a perfect meeting place for our family gatherings. We fell in love so quickly with the town that we purchased a 3 bedroom house in South Haven in November of 2004. We labored all winter to completely renovate the house into a 6 bedroom vacation home specifically designed for family reunions. We finished just in time for the summer of 2005 summer renters and the rest is history, with 100+ family reunions enjoyed at our homes!

We sincerely believe our properties are unmatched in the South Haven area for a family vacation. We have packed more amenities into our homes than any other home in our price range. 2 homes, 6 bedrooms in each, 4 bathrooms, heating swimming pool, luxury hot tub, playground, 8 HDTVs, short walk to beach, short walk to downtown. We love being able to walk everywhere we need to go in town. We are centrally located, so that we can walk to the beach or walk to downtown in about the same time.
