Make memories at Lakeside Lodge on Bird Lake in Osseo Michigan. This is directly on the lake- your private deck leads to your huge yard and large private deck and dock. This is truly your home away from home! This comfortable lake side lodge is ideally suited for a family or group of friends. 3 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and a provided blow up mattress will comfortably sleep 8. Two bathrooms and a washer and dryer are provided. We’ve thought of everything you might need to make your vacation a breeze. Provided are linens, bath towels, beach towels, all necessary kitchen appliances, gas stove, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, outside gas grill, outside charcoal grill, fire pit. 3 kyacks and life jackets are provided and a fishing and swimming area along with a swim raft. Huge FLAT yard. There is dock space to bring your own boat. This is the ideal house to make memories with friends and family. *No smoking and no pets permitted.
*Located 15 minutes from Hillsdale College. It is a wonderful place to come “Winter with us also.”Deer hunting, ice fishing, Thanksgiving and Christmas are all wonderful times up here. I personally decorate the house for Christmas with 2 trees! This is a great place year around! Patti.

Great place to stay

The property is very clean and tidy with a lot of things to do provided by the owners. Everything was as easy as the listing said and communication with the owners was perfect. Would stay here again 10/10

Great family little vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, and our kids loved kayaking and spending time on the water. Patty, the host, was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. We made great memories and enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Family Fun!

We were able to have a nice get away with our kids and grandkids!! It is a little over an hour to the Toledo Zoo. Would recommend for a nice family get away.

Great updated cozy place!

Beautiful views and great amenities! The Host provided all the amenities of home and was accessible when we needed help. The beds were comfy and we loved the 4 seasons porch for views and morning coffee. It was amazing to be able to use the kayaks to explore the lake. This place was wonderful!

Had a great time

My family wanted a little getaway and this beautiful cottage fit the bill. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. Great fishing right off the dock made my 3 boys very happy. Great place to unplug and recharge. Will defiantly be looking to rent again in the future.

Summer vacation

Our stay was amazing!! Patti is a very gracious host and responded immediately when we needed anything! This was our second year staying at the lake house and it was fabulous both times!! Perfect location for a week at the lake.

Patti helped me as soon as we arrived - perfect host! Her lake house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything needed inside and outside. The kayaks were a plus!. We had grandchildren for 2 nights, they are already asking about going back next year:) We had a wonderful week at the lake!

Amazing Weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Lodge! Amazing sunroom with a breeze for playing cards and watching the boats. Comfortable beds, central air for hotter days, 2 full baths & excellent kitchen & grill to save on eating out. Great dock & 3 kayaks to explore the lake. You even had kid friendly, comfortable furniture for the baby to crawl/walk around! Thank you, Patti, for a fantastic weekend!

Fantastic accommodations and beautiful property! Welcoming, family feel and hospitable hosts. Plenty of parking room, everything needed in the kitchen, details thought out. Traveling for business

Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom lake cottage. Clean, spacious, and so charming! Idyllic setting with deck and dock overlooking the water. Complementary smores were a nice touch. I would highly recommend this property for friends and families! Hosts were very friendly and responsive.

Relaxing

Great Lake house to spend a relaxing family vacation. Really enjoyed the lake access, kayaks and fire pit. Fishing was amazing. All 6 of us caught something. Sarah was a great host. Very responsive. Totally would recommend staying there.

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake with everything we needed!! We even had stuff fir s’mores when we arrived!! So wonderful to have the kayaks and life jackets!! Fishing was fun too!! Such a wonderful opportunity to make life long memories!!

Disconnect

We loved that there was only 1 television in the whole house which made the kiddos enjoy the lake and being outdoors. Even though there was Wi-Fi we were disconnected from social media. Amazing time. Would book again.

Charming Cottage

We felt very welcome at the cottage. Our hosts provided all of the amenities like linens, towels, paper products, condiments, and even a s'more basket! There were children's toys and lots of extras. A very cozy and comfortable cottage. The kids loved being able to swim off the dock. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Quick family trip

This was a great location for us to stay and the outside space was perfect for our family to visit and have dinner. The pictures on the listing were accurate My only feedback would be to remove some of the personal belongings - even though this is a second home. I would hate to see something happening to the beautiful family photos and items.

Lake house getaway

The four of us had a great, relaxing time at this lake house. We fished, kayaked and hiked parts of the North Country Trail. The multiple places to sit inside to eat, have coffee and a cold beverage where very nice. The beds were super comfy. Building a fire at the pit was also enjoyable. Nearby brewery and restaurants were good as we did cook in as well. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Patti was also very responsive with questions. We would return.

We hope to stay here again!

We loved our stay here! Right on the lake, with beautiful view windows and plenty of seating on the patios. The kayaks were thoroughly enjoyed & the fishing was great. After very long, exhausting days at the competition we were in town for, this was the perfect place to come back to each day. The beds were comfortable, the heat worked well on cold nights, and there was plenty of parking for our needs. Hillsdale is a close drive for groceries, restaurants, etc. The owner/contact person always replied promptly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming little lakeside home perfect for relaxing stay

We were taking our two sons to college at Hillsdale and just needed 3 nights. It’s a little lame house tucked between similar houses. Beautiful back yard with plenty of seating and lake charms. The mornings are gorgeous we watched the mist and the turtles on the water with binoculars provided by the hosts. Would definitely stay again! Clean, comfy, and the hosts even had s’mores makings with utensils for over the bonfire pit which we did use. Very thoughtful!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

My home is 50 feet straight up from the lake, I have a beautiful big tree for shade in the heat of the afternoon, there is a great swimming area to stay cool and spend hours floating or swimming! there is also a swim raft to lay on. I enjoy the outdoors tremendously during the summer months.
