Beautiful 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths on sound and walking distance to beach and shops


Just read the reviews for this beautiful five bedroom, five and one-half baths with expansive sound views. Our goal is to make this vacation one to remember and the reviews reflect it!
The 4th floor has a bonus room as well as king bedroom and bath. The views are incredible! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths and some have views of the sound. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! The king bedroom offers sounds views and a large bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage with a Nema 14-50 for charging electric vehicles. There is also an elevator.
There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but you also have great options to get outside and enjoy everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. The boardwalk (approximately one-third mile and right next to our home) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while enjoying the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, restaurants, bars and grocery store. We are accommodating and try to respond quickly if you have any questions.

We stayed here for a week with 10 people - 6 adults and four kids 4 and under. It was a spacious and clean home in a great location. We walked on the boardwalk to the small private island, drove 5 minutes to Memorial Beach, and checked out lots of other nearby places - Beaumont, the aquarium, Fort Macon. Perfect spot for a family trip.

We loved our stay at this property! The owner was very good at providing local recommendations and had a printed document at the house as well. She contacted us after we got settled in the make sure everything was good which was a nice touch! The views from the back porch were incredible at sunset! We look forward to staying at her home again.

We loved our stay at Kaye’s house. The place was spacious and in a great location - the neighborhood was quiet and serene and the house has easy access to the sound with beautiful views. Most rooms had an on-suite bathroom which was great. The kitchen had enough of what we needed (plates, utensils, cups, etc). The bathrooms could have been stocked a little bit better (no soap in all of the bathrooms, no shower amenities). But this was very minor. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

This spacious home was the perfect choice for our group of 5 longtime friends. Nicely decorated home, and the elevator was an added bonus. The view of the sound and the sunsets in the evening were wonderful. The property owner was great to work with and very accommodating.

Home is beautiful but definitely outdated. Bedrooms should have TV's, house did not have a mop or bucket which i bought and left for future visitors. Beware for those of color( Black or Hispanic), neighbors very racist. After asking " neighbors " in community if their Pool Fobs were deactivated for pool access, they advised it was not. Lost 3 days of pool access. Wont even comment on 2 occasions of harassment at pool, on my way back home, my wife and i noticed what we thought were mosquitos bite, turns out it was bed bugs.

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The place comes stocked with everything you need. We had a party of 7, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The screened in porch got lots of use as well as the beautiful community pool. The elevator was an added bonus. Kaye was nice enough to leave a sheet with recommendations of things to do as well as local restaurants. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Super place for a reunion!

This was a wonderful property. Large enough that we all had some space. Enjoyed the screen porch and its wonderful view.. Kitchen was a great space for 8 people hanging out and chatting as meals were prepared. Would have liked 2 more chairs suitable for the dining table, as the house was advertised that it could hold 10, and we were eight. But we made due. Really appreciated that the property could handle 4 cars, and a tear-drop trailer. It just fit in the garage, out of the way for the 5 days. Atlantic Beach was a perfect spot for easily getting around.

Perfect location

This house was the perfect size and location for my family with 3 small kids and 3 couples. We each had our own floors and the elevator was super convenient for loading and unloading. The boardwalk was great and the views from the rooms and porch/screened in porch were amazing. Also, the pool was perfect for my kids. The owner texted and called me freely and was super helpful with anything I needed. Only things to note if you are staying 3+ days: there are only a few towels for each room so maybe bring extra. There are only a few dishwasher detergent packets and only 2 TP rolls for each bathroom and only 2 paper towel rolls. After supplementing those things the overall stay was pretty spot on perfect. Thanks!

Gorgeous getaway between the beach and sound.

Absolutely loved our stay for the weekend. Granted we had a storm blow through but it didn't dampened our spirits one bit. We pulled out some of the gameboards and played in the living room, put a puzzle together and played cards at the dining table. The views were amazing and even watching the rain, listening to the sounds around the house was relaxing. The walkway to the sound being right next to the house was very convenient and worth a nice stroll first thing with some coffee. Plenty of bedrooms with on-suites and a bonus room for the kids to play their games without bothering the adults. Elevator was really cool to use and helpful bringing luggage up to each floor. Visited the pool one day with the kids are they had a good time exploring community center. Kitchen had plenty of counter space to prep and make full meals with everyone seated at the table and bar stools. Like previous reviews we stocked up on paper products, trash bags since we go through a decent amount over a weekend with a lot of people there and left rest behind for the next visitors. We've already talked about visiting again next year we loved it so much. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy our time in your home.

Beautiful , spacious house in a lovely neighborhood. It is located Right next to the private walkway onto a small island owned by the neighborhood.We enjoyed the close proximity to the food lion and several great restaurants like Monkey bar and Table 9. The neighborhood pool was enjoyable as well.

Mom’s birthday getaway

We had such a fantastic time at this house. The view was gorgeous, the house was well appointed, everything we could possibly need. Loved the kitchen, the flow of the home, and everything about it actually. Sitting on the back screened in porch was one of our favorite morning and evening activities. Daughter's wedding weekend

This was the perfect location for my familt yo stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Perfectly situated for all activities from rehearsal dinner in Morehead City to the wedding and reception at the aquarium. It was perfect. The house is AMAZING!!! The pictures don't do it enough justice, because it's so much larger in person!! From the amenities to the beautiful decor throughout this house is really spectacular!!

Fabulous home

Our family spent the Christmas week in this beautiful home. It had everything we could need and more. Very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. While the cold weather prevented us from truly enjoying the lovely porch, we hope to return when we can bask in the beauty of the sound side views as we drink our morning coffee. Definitely a great vacation home!
