Beautiful 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths on sound and walking distance to beach and shops

Just read the reviews for this beautiful five bedroom, five and one-half baths with expansive sound views. Our goal is to make this vacation one to remember and the reviews reflect it!
The 4th floor has a bonus room as well as king bedroom and bath. The views are incredible! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths and some have views of the sound. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! The king bedroom offers sounds views and a large bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage with a Nema 14-50 for charging electric vehicles. There is also an elevator.
There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but you also have great options to get outside and enjoy everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. The boardwalk (approximately one-third mile and right next to our home) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while enjoying the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, restaurants, bars and grocery store. We are accommodating and try to respond quickly if you have any questions.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

This spacious home was the perfect choice for our group of 5 longtime friends. Nicely decorated home, and the elevator was an added bonus. The view of the sound and the sunsets in the evening were wonderful. The property owner was great to work with and very accommodating.

Mom’s birthday getaway

We had such a fantastic time at this house. The view was gorgeous, the house was well appointed, everything we could possibly need. Loved the kitchen, the flow of the home, and everything about it actually. Sitting on the back screened in porch was one of our favorite morning and evening activities. Over all great place

Kitchen was good, I was able to cook a complete thanksgiving dinner (I did bring a roaster). I missed a few things but I would certainly call the kitchen well equipped. We had a lot of trouble regulating the temperature in the house but that was the only problem we had. There was plenty of common space and bedrooms. The elevator was great, there are a lot of steep stairs. The sound is beautiful and there is a lot to do in Atlantic Beach.

Great place to stay

Beautiful property clean great location near the pool and within walking distance to beach about 1/2 miles away. We had a group of 7 and slept comfortably and had enough space to spread out to have alone time as well. The elevator was convenient for heavy suitcases and bringing in groceries. The property owner was pleasant and easy to get a hold of. We enjoyed our stay

Wonderful home in an ideal location

Our group included a number of elderly folks (5 of our 8 were 65 and above). The elevator was wonderful for getting our luggage and groceries up from the garage AND it was appreciated for the ones over 80 that had trouble taking the stairs. HUGE amenity to have in the house! We LOVED the location and how convenient it was for shopping AND walking to the water on sound side. And it close to get across to ocean side of the island as well. Great communication and tips from the host before our stay, as well as being available when a couple things came up during our stay. We will stay here again if we have opportunity!

What a tremendous place to stay!

We had a great weekend. This property has a wonderful view of the inlet and is close to everything. It was immaculate and had plenty of room to watch tv or just sit on the rear deck and enjoy the cool weather. We will definitely be returning in the future when we have more time to stay.

House is large and well appointed

The house was great and the house owner was extremely responsive if we had questions. We had 5 adults and 3 children and the living area was spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable and together. Wish it was a little closer to beach access, but would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay. Beautiful Home

Family of 8 with elderly parents and teens. The home was perfect. Everyone had their own space and the location was great. Kitchen had everything we needed and the sound side view was great. The boys loved taking a walk to the private island and fishing. Everything was clean and well appointed. We would definitely recommend this home and Kaye was very helpful! Just can’t say enough good things!

Just Perfect

This was an amazing home. The views of the marsh and Sound are beautiful . Our group of 8 adults had plenty of space and our own bathrooms! It is a light filled home with all the amenities you could want, and a quick walk way over to FoodLion. (Sidewalk) The owner Kaye was easy to reach and helpful in every way. We enjoyed the pool easy access, and a huge dining table for playing games. I hope we can stay again. I already miss the sunsets and the dock walk next to the house out to the small island shelter.

Lovely home!

We loved this beautiful home with lots of extra touches. Nice comfortable beds and linens, and ultra nice towels as well. The house was immaculately clean and has lots of areas to spread out if you are with a larger group. The private little sound beach was nice and the neighborhood is lovely and well maintained. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area!

Our family enjoys being in this home when we are able to visit. It is in a wonderful community and you have access to everything you need for a fabulous beach vacation or a get away during other months of the year. North Carolina usually has mild temperatures year round.
