Perfect location to hike in Rainier NP to the north and to get to Windy Ridge via NE entrance to Mount St Helen's to the south. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Met ALL of our needs :) Thank you!!

Hall Creek Cabin

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, close to town, and had everything needed to cook.The Morton's are wonderful hosts. They were very kind, helpful, and pleasant. Would highly recommend them.We will definitely book with them again!

Good location

This place was good for needing a place for a few nights. Its location to Mount Rainier was perfect and Packwood is a great little town. I didn’t use the hot tub but could see people enjoying it. I liked that the cabin sat back off the main road. I accidentally blew a breaker by using the air conditioning and microwave at the same time.

Great place near Rainier

This cabin was the perfect place to visit Mt Rainier NP and other locations. It was very comfortable and we even saw the only large mammal wildlife (elk) on the property.

Summer holiday

We stopped for a couple of nights to enjoy Mt. Rainer National park. The cabin is in a great location for Packwood and Mt Rainer. It is clean and had all the amenities we could need.

Spent 10 days at this property. Great location, very comfortable accommodations. This is close enough to Packwood for convenience, but far enough away you are away from the world. The place had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

Weekend at the Mountain

Some friends and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights to board all weekend at the mountain. The place was very cute and clean, great location for going to White Pass as well and close to stores. It was very peaceful and the hot tub was great for soaking in and star gazing after a day on the mountain.

Packwood Cabin

Great little cabin with hot tub to soak away the post skiing soreness. Love Packwood. Cruzers Pizza is awesome as is the Packwood Brewery. Owners super friendly and helpful too!

Hosted exchange students for years (2 German, 2 Japanese, 2 Koreans, and 1 Colombian). Fred retired from teaching after 20 yrs & was a Realtor for 7. We owned Subway stores for 20 yrs in Portland, OR & currently retired in Packwood, WA where we manage 3 vacation rentals on adjacent properties. We love hosting family & friends . . . and keep on dancing!

We love the mountains, and Packwood is very like Switzerland, only the mountains are smaller and farther apart. It is in the center of Gifford Pinchot Nat'l Forest, 10 miles from the southeast entrance to Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, and surround by Tatoosh, William O Douglass, and Goat Rocks Wilderness areas. There is a constant flow of wildlife including: elk, coyotes, raccoon, fox, bald eagles, beaver and more with year round recreational activities.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We spent every weekend for almost a year in Hall Creek Cabin while we built the Rainier View Lodge. We really made it our home away from home. I enjoyed the hot tub under a star studded sky, the song of Hall Creek, wood smoke on the wind and the plethora of passing elk . . . what a combination! It's a great place to dream and build!
