Come and enjoy your stay at this spacious, newly remodeled 4 Bed 2 Bath home located just outside of Downtown Schenectady and only a short drive from Albany.

Our home is close to Towne Bowling, Rollerama, and many restaurants and diners. ↓
It's also only a 10 minute drive to Proctors Theatre, Rivers Casino, and all of the things Downtown Schenectady has to offer!

Summer stay

The upstairs never really got cool. Otherwise the property had everything we wanted. Only problem we had is contacting the property manager. We left an iphone and she won't reply back.

Miserable stay

When we arrived we could not get into the home as there was no key in the lock box. It took a while until the owner responded back to us with another code to get into the house. When we flushed the toilet for the first time it overflowed and water backed up into the tub and flooded the bedrooms. A plumber was called but nothing was done about the flooded rooms and all of our belongings were wet. We complained about this but got no response back from the owner. We requested a partial or full refund because of the state of the home but received no response. This was the worst Vrbo we have stated at in ten years.

The morning we had to get on the road to drive up 5 hours to meet our children and grandchildren at the house we still didn’t get any answers to emails we had sent asking for entry information. after several tries with vrbo customer service eventually the property manager answered and gave us the info and claimed they sent it. hmmm… quite stressful and annoying to need to worry that we won’t be able to get in (which happened to us in the past!). The house was renovated in the cheapest way they could. The only excellent thing I can say about this place is that the beds & linens & pillows were new clean and lovely! so we did sleep well. Maybe if it was clean I wouldn’t be so harsh here in this review but paying hundreds of dollars to come into a very dirty place that you need to stay in for a few days is not a pleasant experience (would love to attach pictures but don't have the option here). It isn’t a bad place if only they would use the cleaning charges to actually clean, and hire a more responsive property manager. The floors were filthy (we joked that they forgot to wash them after the renovation). The dishwasher was full with filthy dishes which we found after opening every closet to try and find a dish. In the bathroom, instead of replacing the soap, they just kept adding water to the containers. Flash news: eventually the soap runs out. Luckily, we just needed something for 2 nights close enough to Albany. Served the purpose. won’t be back.
