Welcome to the Mallard Manor in downtown Boerne! This homey VRBO is just a short stroll to Main Street where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques! It is located next door to one of Boerne's most iconic restaurants & breweries, The Dodging Duck. Enjoy great food, live music, drinks & explore all that Boerne has to offer! Want to stay in & relax? Pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee & watch your favorite shows, sports or movies on the 65'' flatscreen.

The Cibolo Creek park / trail which is located directly across the street from the house is OPEN! It went under a major renovation over the last 6+ months and turned out great! Perfect area to walk your dog, run the trails or relax & read your favorite book. Fishing is allowed, but is catch & release (bring your own rod & tackle).

Are you bringing your fur babies on vacation? Now they'll have a fenced in area to roam around! I just installed a little dog run on the side of the house in the yard, so now your pup will have a little room to let out a little energy as well as do their business. Please pick up after your dog :) Also, while using the dog run, guests must supervise their dog at all times. Please do not leave your dog in the area unattended.

Great place!

The house is super clean with every kitchen utensil possible. Great location with short walk to a beautiful trail and many downtown businesses! Owner is super responsive and very quick to reply. One of our best stays!

The house is old but charming.

Although situated on a busy street, the home was clean, comfortable and the best fried green tomatoes are right next door! We would stay again. Thank you, Caleb!

Weekend Get away

Enjoyed staying here! It was so close to the Main St. it also had a brewhaus right across the street that had great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed crossing the street to walk the trail along the Cibolo Creek. There are so many restaurants and breweries just a little walk away. We will stay here again.

Short Family Getaway

Great Place

The house was very nice and in a great location. There is a walking park right there and only a short walk to the shops on main street. The host check in with us to see if we needed anything or any help. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home, great experience!

We came for a quick weekend trip to check out Boerne and surrounding state parks. This home was clean and well cared for, well stocked, and was in the perfect location to walk to so many great places in town. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Great location

So close to downtown Boerne and a good place to spend a weekend in town for a wedding! Google maps tried to take us to the house behind the bnb, but it really is the house right next to the Dodging Duck.

Family Stay

The property was very clean and perfect for my mother & me. Caleb was a good communicator & paid attention to details. Nice to have the Dodging Duck restaurant right across the street as well. And right on the river. Beautiful.

Great location for a relaxing weekend getaway

The property is very conveniently located to downtown- breweries, coffee, decent selection of restaurants and shopping. There is a charming park across the street with ducks and wading birds and a walking trail along the river. House was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Home away from home

This was our second visit at this location. The house was as expected with a few new add ons from last time. We have our "go to" place to visit the grands and family on a regular basis. The owner is very responsive to question before, during and after the stay. 10/10

We always enjoy our time in Boerne. Our stay at Mallard Manor was great. To be honest, I was looking forward to the morning walks by the Cibolo Creek but it was closed off at that time.

Lovely little getaway. The home is clean and comfy. The outside traffic is pretty loud but white noise from my phone drowned it out. The location is super convenient to walking to the river and restaurants. As mentioned in other reviews, the beds were amazingly comfortable!

Exactly the house we needed

I stayed at Mallard Manor for two nights with my mom and our two dogs. My first impression: this place is CLEAN, well organized, and maintained. We spent the weekend walking across the street to the brewery next door, shopping downtown, and creating art. The AC was cold, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect. My only.complaint is minor: the traffic is a bit loud .But i can easily look past that because everything else was even better than expected.

Nice place, good location

A friend and I stayed here on Mother's Day weekend. The house is charming and was very clean. The owner was extremely responsive. The bed are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We did not cook there so take that into consideration but it seemed to have all the necessary items. The location is close to everything and it's nice being right next door to a good restaurant and across the street from the river. There is traffic noise so if that bothers you, bring a noise machine or earplugs. Had a great time!
