Cozy, super-clean cabin minutes from Lake Superior & the Porkies!

CJ's "cabin" is located in the old mining town of White Pine, the perfect base camp to explore the UP, hike the Porkies, hunt agates on the beach or just relax. Most of the homes in White Pine were built as identical "company houses", but CJ's has been remodeled with raised ceilings and wood paneling for the rustic, cozy feel of a cabin retreat. The master sleeps two on a queen Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress. The small bedroom sleeps one and the foldout sofa in the living room sleeps two kids or one adult.

CJ's is just minutes from the Konteka Black Bear Lounge and snowmobile trails, and a short drive will take you on beautiful adventures exploring the Porcupine Mountains or to the beach. If you want to Netflix and chill or game after exploring the area, we have 400 Mbps Internet and most streaming services. In the winter, the driveway will be plowed to allow room for up to two vehicles and a snowmobile trailer.

Our mission is to provide you with the cleanest, coziest place to relax - a place that feels more like a home away from home than a rental. You don't have to worry about bringing your own coffee, tea, toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher detergent or bath products; all the bedding and towels are new and we pride ourselves on fast communication to help you with whatever you need.

We only have a few spots left for the summer. August 17-19, August 31 -Sept 4, Sept 8-11, and Sept 17-18 are open, but the end dates have been blocked to avoid same-day check-ins as we need a full day to clean. Please contact me if you would like those dates and I will unblock so you can book them.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: For those who have stayed with us before or those of you reading the reviews, the PRIVATE BEACH that came with the house last summer and fall will be available for the rest of this summer and fall in 2025. IT WILL NOT be available in 2026. Located on Lake Superior between Silver City and Ontonagon, the beach is private property that will be your very own for swimming, agate hunting and all that other stuff that makes Lake Superior so great!
