Romantisk, avskilt fullt utrustad stuga för två i Blue Ridge Mountains, 18 mi NV om Charlottesville, på Broken Mountain och nära Skyline Drive och Appalachian Trail, 80 miles från Washington DC. Bara en kort bilresa till Charlottesville, hem "Monticello" och University of Virginia.

Ligger på över 200 tunnland, med 2 vandringsleder på fastigheten. Stugan har en gas spis, fullt utrustat kök, två personer jacuzzi och dusch. Ingen TV eller telefon, men var och en har en stereo med CD-skivor och band, och massor av böcker, brädspel, kort, etc.
Inkluderar täckt veranda och öppet däck, med grill. Det finns också en hängmatta under träden för att koppla av i.
Tyvärr, inga barn, husdjur eller rökning i stugan.
Tillgång till pool på sommaren.
Slappna av och komma bort från det liv och rörelse i staden i det lugna i vår dal.

Bekvämligheter :: Alla köksmaskiner; kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn, kyl / frys, mixer, mixer, brödrost - ända ned till servetter i köket.

Bath har två personer jacuzzi och separat dusch; alla sängkläder och handdukar, samt bekvämligheter.

Chuck has the best cabins in the area. The quiet tranquil environment and the cozy cabin makes for a wonderful weekend. Highly recommend.

Paradise in the Woods

Absolutely stunning property, secluded in the woods that allowed for a lovely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin had everything needed and more!

Heavenly, peaceful and the babbling creek is exquisite

It was perfect. It had everything we needed and nothing that we didin't need. The deck and George Foreman made grilling steaks a breeze. The location in Wine country was convenient. We visited 11 wineries.

Wonderful Get Away!

Perfect secluded cabin that allows you to go "off the grid" while having the necessary amenities and more. It is a wonderful place to relax, spend time alone, and refocus. The host made it easy to check-in, provided privacy, and added special touches, like fresh flowers, to make our stay excellent. We cannot wait to return to this special place.

thanksgiving holiday get away

We loved it. The solitude, the surroundings, the lovely rooms, all tastefully decorated; the cabin's perks: very well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nice shower with large jacuzzi in the bathroom surrounded by windows; its creek side location with hammock down by the creek, a firepit, being close to wonderful hikes, and the lack of Wifi and ability to go off grid.

Hiking Shenandoah

clean and modern on the inside. Everything you needed was available. Close to the entrance of Shenandoah, and also close a town with grocery/pharmacy etc. Chuck was a great host.

Perfect getaway with top amenities

Everything from booking to our arrival and the cabin itself was timely and top notch. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, quiet, clean, modern and very well equipped. There was not a single details from the comfort to suggestions for things to do were missed. We enjoyed going for hikes, finishing our day by the pool, talking and reading. Not having wifi was a blessing, we could finally relax!! Thank you Chuck and Stu!! we will be back

An idyllic weekend at The Creek House

What a perfect little house — secluded and relaxing yet within a half hour's drive of Shenandoah National Park and not much farther from Charlottesville and Monticello. The Creek House, nestled in the woods, and within earshot of a soothing, babbling brook, centers you in nature. But its furnishings — comfortable, modern but not fussy — make for a good night's sleep and great place to read and reconnect with whomever lucky person you brought with you. Stu and Chuck are seasoned and thoughtful hosts, and we really appreciated their taste. This is the opposite of the musty doily-filled cabins we have stayed with in the past. The Creek House is a streamlined, light-filled oasis. And bonus -- their property includes a lovely pool and accesses a network of lovely hiking trails which make you feel like you're in the nearby national park, except without the sweeping views (or strenuous climbs). We would love to return.

Piece of paradise

This place was absolutely fantastic! Incredibly clean, had the charm of a cabin without the dust and cobwebs. Everything you need for a little getaway. Beautiful scenery, secluded, and romantic. Mayebelles was close and had supplies we needed, and Greene county grocery was just 15 minutes away for extra vegetable options. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

A wonderful solo retreat!

I can't say enough good things about my stay at this cabin! It was so special and exactly as advertised! I stayed alone on a little solo retreat my husband planned for me and it was perfect. The cabin had everything I needed to relax, prep meals, and sleep comfortably. It was cozy, secluded (though near other cabins they can't be seen through the trees and other guests were so respectful and occupied with their own relaxation that I never heard or saw them!). This cabin is particularly special because of it's location near the creek. The sound of the water is lovely through the windows and from the deck. I can't wait to return and can only imagine it would be oh so romantic to return with my partner. There is no wifi (part of the charm) and there is definitely no cell service! So make sure you pay attention to the directions sent by the host because at a certain point GPS will be useless. But the directions the host sends are more than sufficient!

Excellent stay!

My partner and I loved our long weekend here. It was very peaceful and the host was really communicative. Our little Mazda had some trouble with the gravel road, so I would just recommend driving a larger car if you can! Overall, it was wonderful and I highly recommend!

Good choice for the right people

The cabin was very nice, comfortable bed, very quiet and enough room for the two of us. The owner was very responsive, replying within hours of any communication. The biggest issue we had was the listing doesn't say it doesn't have internet, but it does say no phone or television. We consider internet to be more expected today than a television or telephone. It was particularly difficult when we needed to change our flights. So just be aware, there is NO internet in this cabin. Also the road is a primitive dirt road, our rental car was filthy after the first day. As I said, I think this is a great choice for the right people who want to get away from it ALL - with us living in Texas, we wouldn't consider this again.

Privacy and a VIew

The Cabin is beautifully located in the woods, but readily accessible. It provided a secure feeling of privacy. The interior was as comfortable and well fit out a fine hotel room, with large windows opening into lovely views into the trees and sky.
