Romantisk, avskilt fullt utrustad stuga för tvÄ i Blue Ridge Mountains, 18 mi NV om Charlottesville, pÄ Broken Mountain och nÀra Skyline Drive och Appalachian Trail, 80 miles frÄn Washington DC. Bara en kort bilresa till Charlottesville, hem "Monticello" och University of Virginia.

Ligger pÄ över 200 tunnland, med 2 vandringsleder pÄ fastigheten. Stugan har en gas spis, fullt utrustat kök, tvÄ personer jacuzzi och dusch. Ingen TV eller telefon, men var och en har en stereo med CD-skivor och band, och massor av böcker, brÀdspel, kort, etc.
Inkluderar tÀckt veranda och öppet dÀck, med grill. Det finns ocksÄ en hÀngmatta under trÀden för att koppla av i.
TyvÀrr, inga barn, husdjur eller rökning i stugan.
TillgÄng till pool pÄ sommaren.
Slappna av och komma bort frÄn det liv och rörelse i staden i det lugna i vÄr dal.

Perfect getaway

We are beyond pleased with our stay. The peaceful, inviting space provided a much needed rest for a busy couple. The personal touches provided by Chuck, including a welcome note and bath soak were such a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay!

My partner and I loved our long weekend here. It was very peaceful and the host was really communicative. Our little Mazda had some trouble with the gravel road, so I would just recommend driving a larger car if you can! Overall, it was wonderful and I highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the charming Creek House, which was very clean and well equipped for a vacation visit. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind for the weekend. There are many breweries and wineries that are a scenic drive away, and Charlottesville is not far but feels a world away. There is no Internet or cell service at the house, but we didn’t mind. If you go, be sure to visit nearby Jack’s Shop Kitchen for brunch and Noon Whistle Pottery for unique gifts.

A wonderful solo retreat!

I can't say enough good things about my stay at this cabin! It was so special and exactly as advertised! I stayed alone on a little solo retreat my husband planned for me and it was perfect. The cabin had everything I needed to relax, prep meals, and sleep comfortably. It was cozy, secluded (though near other cabins they can't be seen through the trees and other guests were so respectful and occupied with their own relaxation that I never heard or saw them!). This cabin is particularly special because of it's location near the creek. The sound of the water is lovely through the windows and from the deck. I can't wait to return and can only imagine it would be oh so romantic to return with my partner. There is no wifi (part of the charm) and there is definitely no cell service! So make sure you pay attention to the directions sent by the host because at a certain point GPS will be useless. But the directions the host sends are more than sufficient!

Good choice for the right people

The cabin was very nice, comfortable bed, very quiet and enough room for the two of us. The owner was very responsive, replying within hours of any communication. The biggest issue we had was the listing doesn't say it doesn't have internet, but it does say no phone or television. We consider internet to be more expected today than a television or telephone. It was particularly difficult when we needed to change our flights. So just be aware, there is NO internet in this cabin. Also the road is a primitive dirt road, our rental car was filthy after the first day. As I said, I think this is a great choice for the right people who want to get away from it ALL - with us living in Texas, we wouldn't consider this again.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!

This cabin is perfect and the scenery is to die for! My husband wanted to get away for the night to celebrate his birthday, and this is one for the memory book! The road up to the cabin was fun and we spent most of our day at Bald Top Brewery in Madison enjoying some of the local beer. After we were done exploring Madison, we went back up to the cabin to enjoy the unplugged time together. When you walk into the cabin, Chuck has ensured that everything is taken care of. We had a handwritten note with candies on the bed. Everything you could think of was available for you to use in the cabin. The gas fireplace was a great touch to enjoy the evening together along with the sound of the creek behind the cabin. The next morning it was raining and snowing so we weren't able to explore the lay of the land, but it didn't matter. We stayed in bed with coffee and enjoyed our time together. When the fall rolls around we will be back for sure to celebrate our anniversary! If you are on the fence about renting this place, don't be. It is WORTH IT!

Fantastic cabin

Chuck has the best cabins in the area. The quiet tranquil environment and the cozy cabin makes for a wonderful weekend. Highly recommend.

Heavenly, peaceful and the babbling creek is exquisite

It was perfect. It had everything we needed and nothing that we didin't need. The deck and George Foreman made grilling steaks a breeze. The location in Wine country was convenient. We visited 11 wineries.
