Shenandoah National Park och Skyline Drive är våra grannar. Över 180 hektar avskild egendom gränsar till Shenandoah National Park, men bara 1 mil utanför Highway 33.
Njut av fiske vid vår privata damm och vandra på våra spår.
Den här avskilda stugan är perfekt för familjer eller ett par reträtt, mycket rent och bekvämt, komplett med ett välutrustat kök, en stor plattskärms-tv med skinnsoffa och stolar, jacuzzi och tre privata sovrum. Gott om utrymme att sitta på verandaen och ta panoramautsikt, eller mysigt upp till vedeldad spis i de kallare månaderna. Njut av att samla på utomhusbrandplatsen och två picknickskydd. Den stora gården är väldigt roligt för att ansluta till naturen. Du kan hålla kontakten med världen runt dig med internetanslutning
Tre minuter till ingången till Shenandoah National Park och Skyline Drive, även till offentlig simning, och båt landning på Shenandoah River. Bara en 8 minuters bilresa till ingången till Massanutten Four Seasons Ski Resort (skidåkning, golf, simning och vattenpark). En kort 30 minuter från Luray Caverns, 20 minuter till JMU & EMU och 45 minuter till Charlottesville.
Bara några minuter till stan med bra restauranger och shopping, bara om du behöver lite något.

Great time

Great secluded cabin close to the park. Really enjoyed the quiet and the view at the cabin. Front porch was great for some relaxation time. It was everything that was described and the owner is super easy to work with.

Even More Beautiful Than Expected

We stayed here for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is gorgeous and so is the property. We loved the firepit and the full kitchen. We spent two days at Massanutten and it was close enough but it was also nice to have all the restaurants in Elkton.

Great getaway near Elkton

Looking for a cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah foothills? Excellent three bedroom option near Elkton. Sit and drink your morning coffee or clink your evening wine glass on one of two lovely porch swings overlooking the surrounding vistas. We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday and relaxing. The property manager was a delight.

Exactly As Described

Perfect; exceptionally clean. Easy access, however secluded on large farm bordering Shenandoah National Park. Enjoyed close waterfall hike and longer hike up Old Rag. Great fireplace decent WiFi / satellite TV.

Anniversary trip

There were balloons and candy for our anniversary which was so thoughtful. The cabin was lovely, very clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed grilling out on back deck and sitting around fire pit. The cabin was back off the beaten path and was so quiet and rwlqcing. We would definitely go back and stay again!

We chose this cabin because it it’s location so close to the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. We were thrilled with our choice and had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful stay

This place was so close to Shanadoah National Park. We loved it. It was secluded, peaceful, and beautiful views. The property was well maintained. Cabin was clean, inviting, and so restful. Will try to book this place again in the future!

Shenandoah Cabin

A lovely cabin right beside the National Park. My favorite part was the porch swings in the rain. Very comfortable for our family. The firepit was great for steaks and smores. Our hosts was easy to work with

Very Private & Secluded

The cabin and grounds were really nice. The property is very secluded and private. We totally enjoyed our outside time! Bathroom could definitely use some work but other than that we were very satisfied with our choice this time! We would stay there again!

Shenandoah National Park Stay

We were on our last stop on a national Park Loop from Pittsburgh and we enjoyed the quiet solitude of the cabin Plus Elkton is just a few miles away with plenty of places to eat (Old 33 Burger and Brew was visited twice). As listed the cabin is just a few miles away from the park entrance and the Skyline Drive as well as plenty of hiking. Just as a side note you are on the west side of the mountains so if you want to hike Old Rag it's a little bit of a drive but enjoyable and the view is well worth it And the highlight of my wife's stay was the pastries Ms. McDaniel left for her dessert stomach!

40th anniversary

This place was so perfect to reflect & relax. When we walked in the house there was a beautiful bouquet of roses and a card from Ms McDaniel. We enjoyed seeing so much wildlife and just unplugging from the stress of everyday life. So special for us and we will be going back.

Weekend Retreat

From the description on the VRBO website we knew the place was going to be perfect for our ladies weekend away. When we arrived it was more than we expected. It was wonderful! Clean, well stocked, nice linens and set up for a relaxing time. Close to the national park entrance and all the hiking you want to do. Host was prompt with answering questions and very kind. Would recommend and would come back!

Another fabulous stay!

My husband and I have stayed many times at this beautiful cabin, and when I noticed that Memorial Day weekend was open, we jumped at the chance! Brenda always makes every visit memorable, and this was no exception. This time we went to the Elkton Brewing company for a couple of drinks, always so pleasant, and sometimes with live music! A treasure just minutes away from the cabin. My husband caught a few bass, perfect for bass and eggs in the mornings. We will be back soon to enjoy this peace and quiet slice of heaven.

Great cabin stay

This was a quintessential log cabin with excellent access to the Shenandoah national park. There were 4 of us and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. Although it rained the whole time, we still enjoyed the property and utilized the fireplace. There were a lot of mounted deer heads which definitely added character! Overall, the cabin felt very homey and would come back with friends later to explore more

Amazing Cabin

This was just what we wanted and more. I loved sitting out on the front porch and watching the deer in the field. There was plenty of room to spread out and a big table for family games. The national park entrance was about 15 min away and we hiked everyday. The property is so large and beautiful that you could only see and hear nature.

Wonderful cabin borders National Park

Very private cabin far off main road. Three bedrooms in very good condition. Nice large bathroom with double sinks and jetted tub. Beautiful shower doors. Fields in front where we saw turkey and deer. Pond has a lot of fish and was fun to fish for bass and bream. Near Elkton for food or dinners. Short drive to entrance station at Swift Run gap for Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Fully recommend this cabin!
