Morris Family Vacation

This is the 2nd year we’ve stayed in the Shaw’s lovely home. Steven as always was very accommodating and his home and location are ideal. We love HHI and Palmetto Dunes is a wonderful place for families.

The house and location was great. The owner was responsive to any request and a pleasure to enjoy his beautiful home. The location was only 5 minutes to beach and looking out in the golf course was beautiful.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at 182 Mooring Buoy. We chose this home based on reviews and descriptions on the internet after assessing hundreds of alternative options. It very much lived up to our expectations. It is a single-floor range-style home that was the perfect size for our family of 7. The interior is beatifully decorated, and provided all the amenities we needed. The views on the lagoon, visible from most rooms, are gorgeous. The pool, hot tub, and very large deck were all very relaxing, and provide shady respite from the sun at most times of the day. Traffic on the adjacent golf course was very limited, and no impediment to privacy. It is an easy 5-minute walk to the wide beach that provides plenty of opportunity for relaxation. The owner was very helpful and approachable during various communications before our arrival, and the rental agency was reponsive when needed. Overall, highly recommended.

Awesome home

Beautiful, comfortable home for 6 adults and two children. Walked to the beach every morning (about 5 minute easy walk) then came back and swam in the awesome pool all afternoon. Would highly recommend this home for a relaxing enjoyable family vacation

A beautiful and comfortable home!

My wife and I have been to Hilton Head many times and usually meet my parents there and stay for a couple of days. We have always either stayed at a hotel or rented a condo on the beach. However this time we wanted to try something different, stay for a full 7 days, and found this house on VRBO. We had one of our best vacations ever and this house was a big reason for that. It's located in a quiet gated section of Palmetto Dunes on the 13th tee of the Robert Trent Jones Golf course, about a 5 to 7 minute easy walk to the beach. The house is roomy, has comfortable mattresses in the bedrooms as well as upscale furnishings including a beautiful formal dining room. What I loved most though was the views of the golf course and lagoon from almost every room in the house! If you enjoy watching golf this house provides a perfect setting to watch players hit their tee shots over water. There is a cement bench in the backyard that provides a perfect view of the tee box. We enjoyed the view of the lagoon from inside and outside by way of a large deck accessible through the kitchen, great room, and one of the bedrooms. The trees and vegetation around the house provide a beautiful and peaceful setting and we saw numerous birds and many fish jumping in the lagoon. Now that we have been spoiled with the ease of parking, tremendous amount of space, and beautiful setting of this house it will be hard to return to a condo. We are already planning our next Hilton Head vacation and will book this same house again if available.

Wonderful vacation home with most tranquil view!

We just returned from a week's stay at this wonderful home - from the moment you walk in you are presented with a beautiful and most tranquil view. Not only is there a golf course view, but he lagoon is wide enough to have a small island, so it appears to be more like a lake!! The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. One of the other bonuses, making his home of particularly good value is the proximity to a beautiful stretch of beach - under 5 minute walking distance. We loved our stay and plan to reserve this home again for future trips to Hilton Head.

Best deal on updated home rental within Palmetto Dunes! Great pool and hot tub set up. Amazing views from back deck and several vantage pointe throughout the house. Short walk to beach access. Make sure to check out the Dunes House, a oceanfront bar on Mooring Bouy. Didn't want to leave! Going to make this my annual trip.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This home is a perfect place to enjoy your vacation. It is very roomy and contains everything you could possibly need. This property has been recently renovated and is extremely clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is lovely, a wonderful quiet place to enjoy bike riding or walking. We look forward to renting it again.

Family Time

Our stay at this location was very enjoyable. Our children and their spouses were finally able to spend a great week together with us in Hilton Head. The walk to the beach was faster than was reported. It only took 5 minutes to get there. The location was at the north end of Palmetto Dunes, so the beach was not at all crowded, which was nice. It was nice to have our own pool. We would have Water volley ball games to beat the heat. We had a great time in it, although some golfers may not have liked our enthusiasm when each side would win! I would highly recommend this home for a great place to stay.

I am a professional in the healthcare field and my wife is a realtor. We are originally from New York City and Ohio collectively and it is amazing how two different cultures love the same place. We feel Hilton Head is our second home and not one time are we not disappointed to leave. We work very hard at our jobs but find a way of constantly upgrading our properties and treat them as our primary homes. Our lives are very different as I take the athletic side and my wife loves the ocean and shopping. Red wine always awaits for us in the evening followed by a great meal, retire early for another great next day. Our Golden Royal Troon and Golden Doodle, Dunes, loves the Beach and we see a new dogs when we come down. Our lives are eventually to move down here but for now it is always a desire.

We looked all over Florida for the combination of Golf, Tennis and ocean. Every place in Florida had these amenities but in distances that made it a hassle to get to. Here in Hilton Head, within minutes every activity you want to do is close by. It is a quiet island, strictly watched and guided by Palmetto Dune Owner association to make sure that all expectations and upgrading of property is kept at a high standard. We expect it as well as vacationers to this Island. Palmetto Dunes, every year has been ranked as one the top Family Resorts in the Country in its Class. We wanted to make sure when we come that every one has the same respect for each others vacation.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This home we consider our personal home not just a rental. It has all the warm feeling of being a true residence. It is located on the 13 Tee of the Trent Jones Course where the golfers don't know you are there but you can see and hear the sound of a crisp hit while sitting on the spacious deck or at the pool and the comments of their shot to follow. It is an entertainment by itself. The view is expansive. We have taken out the small windows in the back and replaced them with large open sliders and plate glass windows for the best view possible. Why not enjoy it when you are outside or inside? The house not only sits on the golf course with all its beauty but on the brackish water lagoon. The birds and small boats are relaxing to watch and are plentiful. Early in the morning we love to walk to the beach along the golf course and along the famous Ocean Hole only a few minutes between us and the beach. Any other time the beach is about a 5 minute walk in our beautiful neighborhood.
