Everything was good for the most part.A few suggestions though: the weeds need to be maintained as they are over grown in the grilling area. Similarly, the kayaks and canoes should be upside down so that they do not retain water.

For homeowners eyes only.

I give 5 stars on everything just because i don't want to scare costumer away. Every year i book this property since 2019 and the quality just keep getting worse. The homeowners are trying to keep with the house problem but not fast enough. The property needs a complete renovation and leveling of the trailer( replacing the trailer for a new one should be better)The deck completely fell apart on me and my kids while taking the kayaks back from the river, i tied it up with a rope so it's doesn't go anywhere. The bigger decks are obviously falling apart too. The hot tub was so dirty and nasty that i have to drain it, replace the water and add the chlorine. Like i said before i love this property and want to keep coming here every year but things need to change. Also need to cut grass on barbecue area.

Overall pretty good stay

It was overall a great stay aside from communicating with the host about how to turn the outdoor lights on and never getting back to us about how to fix that. The hot tub was also so incredibly low of water when we arrived that it was practically unusable. Aside from that the location of the property was great and it was clean!

Needs Maintenance

Property could use some maintenance and yard work. The listing includes a Hot tub that isn’t almost unusable. The host asked me to check and fill it when needed. Well that turned into an all day job, because as soon as it got full from cold water and temperature dropped pumps would kick on and it would leak it all back out. So in order to enjoy a full lukewarm tub this would have to be done before use. Honestly property was not worth the price of our stay. Please do needed upkeep and fix or take out the hot tub

Great location

We didn't check in until 1 am. Entry door was difficult to open. We arrived when the temps were in the 30's and found the heat had not been turned on so our first night was chilly. In the morning we were able to look around. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we visited the area again. been turned on before or arrival.

Pleasant stay, great location

This is a great little house very close to the river. Plenty of activities to keep you busy at the house or in the canals and river. We mostly used it for a place to crash and cook a couple of meals while day tripping to springs in the area.

Home away from Home

Never disappointed when I stay here! Place is always squeaky clean, Hosts are amazing, repsond right away if needed and efficient in making sure everything is working right to guarantee you'll definitely enjoy your stay.

One reason I booked this property coz It says there's a hot tub but tub is not working ,net from the patio was torn,and sliding door was so difficult to slide.I understand hurricane just passed but the ad should be updated.I felt like the price was too much for that night without the tub.

Perfect Besties weekend getaway

This is a perfect spot for a family and friends get away! House is clean, host is available and communicates quickly. Plenty of vessels available to use on the river. Great canal for kids to jump in and play! Fire pit, waterfront, hot tub, screened in patio, easy access to the river! This spot checks all the boxes! Highly recommend. Will stay again.

Exactly What We Needed

This is a great property. There were 6 of us total. Owner communication was great leading up to our stay. There were plenty of kayaks for our group. The hot tub was a hit. Just a 3 minute kayak ride to the main river. Would definitely stay again.

The greatest time

We took an impromptu mamas getaway and this was the perfect place! We had plenty of space and greatly enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch at night looking out over the water. There were more than enough kayaks and the location was outstanding. Great communication. We will absolutely be back again. Thank you so much

Great place

While I've used vrbo to rent around the river several times, this has been by far one of our favorites! The hosts were very responsive and were over to the property within minutes when we had a hard time with the door at check-in. (all 3 doors were VERY hard to open) The cleanliness of the property was 100%, the hosts really take pride in making sure the place was clean and had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. I would definitely love to come back to this property as well as possibly exploring others this host has to offer. The amenities like the hot tub, outdoor showers, and having working canoes/paddle boards & equipment were a major winning point for us. Thanks for having us, we look forward to coming back in the fall.

Great Stay!!

The house was very clean and nice. There was a nice view of the water and kayaks for us to use, as well as the hot tub. The owner is very friendly and answered all of our questions quickly. We had an issue with lights and someone was right over to fix them. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

Best place on weeki wache river

This house is right on the river, very nice set up and location. You can jump from the deck into the river, take the kayaks into an aventure or just chill in the hot tub… for me this house has everything and every year I choose to stay here with family and friends.

Manatee Haven

We enjoyed our stay at Manatee Haven. The house fit 6 of us perfectly. The water was clearer than other canals and there was lots of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards for use. The hot tub was a hit after long days on the river. The river itself is beautiful and easily accessible from the house location. The second half bathroom on the listing is located outside in a shed with the washer and dryer and no a/c so its not inside the house as we thought when we booked. There is also an ant problem inside. Do not leave any food out on counters that is not sealed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Manatee paradise!

Weeki wachee is an amazing place. This is the perfect spot. Easy access to the main channel. Great amount of canoes, kayaks. Location, location, location. Great dock on the property, easy to get in and out. But the best part.... we got to spend hours and hours on the river. Swam with manatees everyday. Fishing. Jumping off the dock. And Debby was great. Will be back. Tell your friends. :)

Weekend getaway

Nice mother's day weekend getaway! Property was fully furnished and everything we needed for the water activities was available. Main river just around the bend!! Backyard fishing, hot tub and large patio/deck area was awesome! Sliding glass door rollers need to be replaced, other than that, would definitely stay again!
